Are the adult drinks only made with wine and no spirits?

Perfect brunch spot in west village!
The inside is pretty tiny with limited seating but worth the wait to be seated indoors.
We ordered some food to split and everything was delicious! - 15954258/10/2023
I've been to Little Owl before and I thought it was a nice intimate place. Last time I went I just got the eggplant parm which was exactly what you'd expect from an eggplant parm. Nothing different or special, just a very well made eggplant parm.
This time I mixed it up and got the pesto farfalle! It was delicious! The cherry tomatoes and fried salami made to taste better than your usual pesto pasta.
The service was nice! They checked up on us twice so we could order more drinks. I appreciated the hostess for seating me while I was waiting on my friend. I highly recommend getting a reservation because I guess I'm not the only fan. Luckily I booked a reservation the day of and had no issues getting seated right away.
I would come back here with friends, family, and dates because it's a little unassuming but well made food. - 15437826506/9/2023
Little Owl is a pain in the a$$ and comes with a lot of hype. Came here for a celebratory dinner for two. The restaurant sits on a cute corner of the West Village near the Christopher St subway stop. It's apparently in the building where Friends was filmed?? so the opposite side of the street is teeming with tourists night and day. Be prepared to have your photo taken as you dine (it's really annoying). The food is good - we appreciated the various meat and veggie options, and tried the golden beet salad, the asparagus salad, the veggie lasagna, and the Mexican street corn (not served on the cob, but shaved in a massive pile onto a plate). The issue was the service. We had a reservation but wanted to relax and have a drink before dinner. We called to ask if we could come early to have drinks. They said they weren't busy and yes, we were welcome to hang at our table and order drinks and apps. But when we did, we were endlessly harassed to order. It was relentless. Even though the restaurant was empty, we were pushed and rushed. THEN we were snootily told we couldn't order appetitizers while deciding upon our main meal and had to "get everything in at the same time." Including dessert. Erm, no dude, that's not how dining out works. Alsooooooo no other table was told that - we watched the other folks around us order dessert AFTER finishing dinner (like normal folks at a normal restaurant). I've never had such a rude waiter. Don't invite patrons in and then push them out the door. Or don't you know that dining out is supposed to be as much about the experience as the food...?
For such a high price point, we expected the service to match the bill.

This place is a cute restaurant located on the first floor of the TV show Friends' apartment building (only the exterior that's filmed). I went on a nice breezy summer day so sitting outside was a great choice to enjoy brunch. I ordered a mushroom omelette and shared a brioche french toast with my friends. The food isn't anything extraordinary but overall delicious and perfect for a weekend brunch. More than the food here, I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. It's located right in West Village and maybe because of its uniqueness of being a part of the show Friends, it gives the perception of a cozy vibe in a nice and friendly neighborhood. There are actually tourist groups around, most likely viewing the building for its Friends related history, so if you're from out of town it might be a nice place to try out for this "NYC experience."

Planned for brunch on Saturday for two. Arrived for reservations at 11:30am and got seated right away. We ordered fresh orange juice to start while we decided what else to get.
Milanese skate sandwich - crispy and came with fries! I love the skate texture and couldn't resist dipping into ketchup. Our waiter knew we were going to share and requested the kitchen to cut the sandwich in two. Ten stars for being thoughtful!
Chilaquiles - we were honestly debating between a veggie dish or this. We actually thought it was going to be eggs, guac, wrapped in a tortilla but it was more of a nacho style. With the high praise from the waiter, we went for the chilaquiles. The flavors of this blew us away, where the eggs melded perfectly with the sauce and spicy guac.
We sat by the window and as we were eating, we noticed people across the street taking photos of the building. I had no idea that we were more or less eating at "Central Perk", the fictitious cafe from "Friends" - Fun surprise! - 5153611392/25/2023
Cozy spot offering a variety of different types of brunch foods, including American, Mexican, Mediterranean, and Western European. I ordered the Surf and Turf Tacos, which came with one steak taco and one fish taco (some sort of white fish). Both were good but not great value for $23 given the somewhat small portion size. The steak was tender and the salsa added some nice flavor with a bit of a spicy kick. The fish was soft and tasty. Otherwise, the tacos were rather ordinary. They came with some beans and rice which were decent quality.
The interior is a bit small but they have some outdoor tables as well. It was very busy on a holiday Monday so would recommend making a reservation during peak times. The dining area has lots of natural light coming in from the large windows and the brown wooden furniture gives it a warm feel. The staff are friendly, somewhat attentive, and the service speed is fairly quick.
Overall, I would recommend Little Owl as a solid option for brunch if you are looking for a place that offers different kinds of foods in the Greenwich Village area. - 15719663914/25/2023
This place is a very cute brunch spot in West Village.
Loves:
+ Food is excellent. My friend and I split the beignets ($12), gravy sliders ($15), and poached eggs ($14) and it felt like a perfect brunch.
+ Drinks are good too and getting real summer-y. I had the Cappelletti Spritz which came out in a big glass so you know I enjoyed myself.
+ Cute space indoors
+ Lovely service
Honestly, the reviews here speak very well to the Little Owl and it is truly divine. Given how this spot is always hustling and bustling, I highly recommend making a resy. Until next time, stay lovely Little Owl. :) - 1761123452/14/2023
So hard to get a prime time slot but I finally got one. The little owl is located under the friends building. I am a huge fan of the friends show and to come here for dinner made me so happy.
The spacing is kinda tight and only holds but so many people. The service is amazing and the staff was super friendly. They recommended apps and entrees and everything is amazing.
Started with the fried calamari, mussels and meatballs in their gravy sauce. The food phenomenal!!
For entree we got the bacon cheeseburger and salmon. I have to say one of the best burgers I ever had. The salmon is seasoned well and loved the grill marks.
Overall great experience. Pricing is fair for the quality food you get. Perfect for date night. You get that beautiful intimate setting. Would def come back. - 20248512825/8/2023
My friends and I wanted brunch in the West Village and stopped by this place after doing some yelping and googling. Despite being a walk-in, the host was very friendly and actively trying to seat us. There are a good amount of spots outdoors and some indoors.
=grilled asparagus salad - delicious! Loved the mix of cooked asparagus and raw veggies including lettuce/arugula. I'm also not a huge fan of heavy salad dressings but their sauce was a nice, light citrus-y dressing that went really well with the veggies. The addition of a runny sunny side up egg also added extra flavors!
=mexican corn - had the right mixture and ratio of mayo, spice, sauces, and cheese! The corn was well cooked but still slightly crunchy. Overall super tasty!
=Wheat pancakes - definitely a popular item on the menu and I totally see why! The wheat not only makes it healthier but also gives it a slightly chewy texture. The syrup was alright but the fruits were all very fresh. - Guido V.Long Island, NY38236710236/24/2023
Eggplant parmigiana.... Very good, but not sure I can understand the price, except it's a very nice atmosphere.
