About the Business
Located in DTLA, one of the most diverse cities in America, Little Damage is a small family owned business that draws it's inspiration from the rich cultural fabric that makes Los Angeles special. We will keep you on your toes by rotating our flavors seasonally and adding featured flavors throughout the year. Rather than offering a conventional selection, we offer unique recipes that allow you step outside of your comfort zone and get a little adventurous. And once you lick it, it's yours! Preparing our ice cream is a labor of love. We accept only the best taste and to ensure the quality you deserve, we prepare ice cream daily in small batches, using local ingredients supplied by organic dairy farmers. Our signature black cones are naturally colored with activated charcoal, and hand rolled minutes before you get one. Above all, we envision Little Damage to be a place where treasured memories are made. Capture all of the best moments with our free photo booth! The only place worry can be found at this special ice cream shop is at the bottom of an empty cup or the last bite of a charcoal cone.

This place is a must in DTLA.
The color itself is something one has to experience at least once.
The flavors change every so often but they're always the best. Even the cone itself is delicious. The workers there are always kind as well.

Such a cute tiny place! I found this on maps when I was craving ice cream late at night, and I'm so glad i did! The flavors are very basic, but they taste pretty unique. My boyfriend and I got the cookies and cream one and the pink vanilla. The cookies and cream tasted very deep, but it wasn't that sweet which was perfect. The pink vanilla tasted like a mixture of cake batter and sprinkles!
10/10, would def go back for more ice cream and vibes.

Nice place to experience, especially for the aesthetic. The ice cream is average as far as flavor though, more icy than creamy.
Service is welcoming most times.

Ambiance: This place is adorable. You can't go wrong with the right placement of some great decor. If you're into selfies, this is a good place to be.
Service: very kind and helpful, not much to choose from, so it was an easy, painless experience.
Food: I got the Kiki n Cream, which is their version of cookies n Cream. First impression... the color was beautiful, the flavor was smooth, and it was rich. It will change the color of your tongue, but it kind of makes me feel like a kid again..
Parking is not great, but that comes with being downtown.

You will do a little damage to your wallet by getting ice cream here but dessert is worth it! It is located in DTLA and very Instagrammable so prices reflect that but worth a try if you haven't been before if you like their flavors.
Their charcoal ice cream cone is what put them on the map in the first place and they have interesting flavors that you can add a topping to (I am always partial to rainbow sprinkles). I got the Fruity Pebbles which wasn't quite to my taste so it's on me and I am sure I would have liked another flavor more but I wanted to try a more unique flavor.
Cool decor and there is limited seating available inside. Feel free to enjoy your ice cream inside or take it out on a stroll of DTLA!

Good ice cream, reasonably priced. I was looking for charcoal ice cream and found this place. I left very happy, even the cones are delicious.

I was super excited to try this place when I came across it online! Black waffle cone with teal ice cream? Yes please! Obviously the aesthetic of it all is what brought me in. But I can definitely say it was really good. I got the Kiki n Cream and my guy got the Vegan Coconut Almond. I was a little concerned the cone itself might taste odd because of the coloring but nope, delish. The shop is cute inside as well. Only downside is parking but hey, it's LA! You already know. I definitely plan on going back to try some other flavors!

Was really wanting to try black ice cream the other day with my friend, it took us a while to even find the place and we were on navigation, turned out it was actually hidden in a corner, had to be really careful to find it! The parking and the location of the place is a bit scary, so I don't recommend going by yourself. On the other hand, the ice cream tasted amazing ! And the service was really nice ! I will be back, but during the day this time!

My first LA foodie experience was a special road-trip during a San Diego vacation just to visit Little Damage and have black ice cream about 8 years ago. When we got there, black ice cream was not being served that day . So, finally, black ice cream. It was a cold rainy day, so it was pretty quiet. But, definitely worth the visit. It's still a cute little spot in DTLA with friendly service. I sat and enjoyed the black horchata (mostly chocolate) ice cream with oreo sprinkles. Still worth the visit for goth ice cream if you're in the area.
