If I could give zero stars I would. Working with this law firm was the most stressful thing about my divorce. They ended up charging me over three times the upper limit they estimated the divorce would cost at my initial meeting. They made multiple errors, everything from not including information I had given them, to putting down accounts incorrectly in the marital settlement agreement, to losing documents that I had to have my ex sign again. RUN AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE! I am sure there are many, many law firms that would do a better job with your divorce.

I hired Batley and she pond me off to her employee Lauren. I lost almost all of my retirement and had to come up with $60,000 within three months. I don't even make 30,000 in a year if it wasn't for my family I would be homeless.
It was a few years ago so I don't know for sure but I know I paid them over five or $6000. Do not use them they should be out of business.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - RoseAnn S.Albuquerque, NM631Dec 12, 2018
It was a huge mistake to hire Lauren. A grueling experience entirely.
In my experience working with Lauren, I felt like I was on trial without a lawyer trying to explain my situation to the person I had hired to represent my case.
She wanted to proceed with a blasé "cookie cutter" approach- never wanting to be bothered with the details of my case.
Therefore, I spent the majority of my time trying to explain to her what the Judge had previously stated, the details of this case, and why I wanted to proceed a certain way.
She blew through my entire retainer, consultation fees, and has also billed me another almost $600 for a total of over $4000 and is now asking for yet another $2000 retainer before even representing me at my trial.
So, after being charged over $4000, I will be WITHOUT representation in court.
Let that sink in for a moment before hiring this firm.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Larisa O.Chicago, IL61Nov 10, 2017
My experience with this company was awful!!!! I hired Ms. Little who after few meetings informed me that she couldn't represented me bcs she accidently spoke with my husband who supposed to called her office and she spoke with him without realization that he was my husband. Then she referred me to her partner Ms. Batley. Usually, speaking with an opposing side would disqualify the entire company. After few meeting, Ms. Batley cancelled my agreement bcs I did not sign a binding agreement within a week. I would say these two attorneys are very dishonest. They charged me $95 for providing me a copy of my file that should be provided to me in timely manner during their representation. Their bill was huge for a tiny amount work they provided. I would not recommend them.
