This is no beer wine and spirit warehouse with a global selection or anything...
but it has a decent selection of local (craft) beers.
prices are the same as every other liquor store (thanks indy legislators)
wine selection is much less enjoyable as the beer selection... but I'm sure they will continue to do well until Indy changes the crazy laws regarding alcohol sales.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 4988282923253Aug 17, 2016
Get outta town.
1.) super rude staff (they were loudly griping back and forth about some man that is a drunk blahblah, blahnotprofessionalblahblah
2.) I asked for help finding the club soda and they continuously pointed randomly around the room (and each time there was nothing there). Finally, they made the effort to help me and found that they only option they had was randomly placed on the top shelf (required a ladder).
3.) The cherry on top, you ask? Their mini club soda bottles were wrongly labeled and rang up at $1.50/mini bottle. Needless to say, I wasn't about to spend $9 on 6 mini bottles of club soda and they didn't seem to want to come up with a plan B way of selling it to me.
Had the customer service been better, I would be more likely to give this place four stars for convenience (located along the Cultural Trail and close to home).Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Megan K.Indianapolis, IN223133240Aug 27, 2016
Eh, I'll make the trip to Big Red Liquor instead.
My friend and I were stopping by on our way home for wine. We were on bikes and went in one at a time. I went in first and the two women had boxes everywhere and didn't seem to care I couldn't get the wine I wanted. After moving over a box or two I got a bottle - from the very limited selection of dry red wines. When I went to the counter they didn't ask for my ID and seemed bothered I handed it over (I'm 24 so it's still a habit to show no matter what). Either way she continued to check me out and had no intention in having a conversation with me. As I stood there waiting for my card back I tried to make light conversation about the rain and wine but she had no interest.
My friend went in and got the same treatment. This time the worker said they were cash only. Little did she know we were together and I was waiting outside. Very strange when there was not a problem with running my card 5 minutes before.
I live in Fletcher Place and enjoy all the small local businesses around here. There isn't one place I've experienced that I haven't felt welcome. Can we as a community vote this business out of here? Not a happy camper. (the wine I bought was good though)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Josh S.Indianapolis, IN26521Aug 29, 2018
Super friendly staff but recently they sold me a crate of beer that was out of date. Kind of disappointing when your find out 3 beers into the crate

Came here for a quick bottle of wine and was too lazy to go downtown to Crown or Kahn's. So...finally went here after living in the Square for two years. I agree with Ben. I got booze. They got money. That's it. The lady was kind and we had a small conversation. I would come back for that quick booze pick-up.

I give them money. They give me booze. We have a great relationship! Highly recommended.. watch out for the $10 credit card minimum!

Ghetto liquor store with a rude clerk. I have stopped many times over the past several years simply because of it's convenient location. The rude display of contempt on Monday evening was the last time I'll allow myself to be treated in this manner. Next time I have a craving for whiskey, I'll pass a locally owned business and go to CVS.

This is your bullet-proof glass box-type liquor store. They don't have a wine selection, or much in the way of craft beer. This is the type of place where you already know what you're getting before you set foot in the store. The service, however, was super friendly!
