LPS Dental - Downtown Chicago Loop

I came here for a dental cleaning. Upon entering, they take your temperature and require you to sanitize your hands with provided hand sanitizer. Employees are wearing masks.

During the actual appointment, they ask you to keep on your mask until they actually work in your mouth. Since it was my first time here, I had to have a dental exam and a cleaning. They did their best to make the two back-to-back for my convenience so I wouldn't have to come in later for one of the two appointments.

I believe I saw Dr. Teo. He is clearly very intelligent and explains everything to you which is nice since I often get nervous at the dentist. However, I was a little upset because he did an oral cancer screening exam, which is not commonly part of a dental exam at most places. Since my insurance doesn't cover it, I had to pay a co-pay. I wish he had said that beforehand and asked if I was comfortable and okay with that, as when I had called to get a cost estimate for the services, they told me I would have no co-pay since they didn't include the oral cancer screening.

Luckily my x-rays were also covered, but I had panicked a little because Dr. Teo said the full mouth x-rays are only taken 5-7 years. Again, it would have been nice to have been told this before the appointment just in case my insurance doesn't cover it. I was under the impression the appointment would just do what is typically done in most dental check up appointments that is covered under insurance. A little clearer communication of the services rendered would have been much preferred. Other than that though, the dentist and hygienist did a fine job.

Everyone who works at this office--from Dr. Teo to the receptionists to the hygienist--is kind, helpful, and good at their job. Dr. Teo is good at explaining one's options. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they did everything to make the office safe, and I felt quite comfortable. They take care of insurance matters in a no-hassle manner. Highly recommended.

What can I say Dr Teo and his staff are amazing from the time you walk in the door until you leave you feel like family. Dr Teo is very informative about what needs to be done and what he will be doing,and his assistant Liz is absolutely awesome. Now front desk staff Christine, and Ashley again very warm welcome and friendly, and Ashley that does hygiene so so nice. Keep up the good work Dr Teo and the staff

I have been a patient of Dr Jack and staff for several years.
First in Lincoln Park and now in the new office in the Loop on Michigan Ave.
Dr Jack and his team are always welcoming , professional, on time, good listeners and always take the time to answer questions and offer practical advice.
Their offices are up to date, have pleasant decor...and the 2 locations are really a bonus.
I highly recommend Lincoln Park Smiles with a big smile on my face and bright shining teeth!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Teo for over over 20 years. I love his new location as it is extremely convenient to get to on the "L". The receptionist and dental hygienist are wonderful and always greet you with a warm smile.

I have passed on my recommendations to friends and family and they have all agreed with me that Dr. Teo is the best they have ever had. If you want a professional that looks after your well being and treats you as family, you will not be disappointed with Lincoln Park Smiles in the Loop! (I would have given them 10 stars but 5 is the max!).

Dr. Scott gave me a top notch cleaning today with his able assistant. It was efficient and painless and thorough. I had a few buildup spots he attacked with the "medieval torture" tools, as I call them, and I'm happy he took the time to go beyond just the high pressure water technique. I will definitely be back. I found free parking easily and the office interior was very classy/upscale. Five stars on decor and logistics to go with my careful thorough cleaning. Dr. Scott has a great personality too. I have a new dentist!

As someone who hates going to the dentist my experience here had been phenomenal. Ann, my hygienist, is funny and does great work. Dr Teo, whom I needed a cavity, was absolutely wonderful and didn't cause me any pain...actually made me laugh. On top of it, he sent me a handwritten note after my appointment...what dentist does that? Highly recommend and it's conveniently downtown.
