Limoncello's Italian Grill Restaurant

I'm was a bit surprised to see all of the negative reviews when I opened up the page to write my raving one, I had a great experience with this place! We ordered from here at work and I was very skeptical because these pizza places are a dime a dozen in the Greater Trenton area and most aren't anything to write home about. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order.

The grilled shrimp salad was very good, the shrimp was grilled and well-flavored and the lemon vinaigrette went very well with the flavors. The provolone cheese was an interesting addition and stuck to the top of the lip, as it had melted en route, but that's a minor issue, because who doesn't love melted cheese? I also ordered the pizza fries which were addicting, I physically had to place them out of sight so I would stop eating them. And the highlight of the meal: the seafood bisque. There were probably about 4 sticks of butter in one order alone, but it was creamy, savory, and filled with seafood like shrimp and crab. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Yummy.

Limoncello's loses a star for the prices...it's a bit pricey, but I would definitely order again from here.

Just moved into the neighborhood and ordered 2 pies and some garlic knots. The service was pretty quick but the quality of the food wasn't anything memorable. Accept how dry the Garlic knots were. There was no garlic oil in the tin or garlic cloves on the knots. It tastes like it was pre made and reheated. Dry and hard knots. The pizza was ok.. at best

I ordered two pizzas via Uber Eats. The estimated time was 40 minutes. After maybe 20 minutes there was a driver assigned to the order. After another 10 minutes a new driver was assigned, and an added 35 minutes were added to the estimated delivery time. I called the restaurant to ask about it, and the man I talked to was incredibly rude. He told me the pizzas were on top of the oven because I chose *pick up* instead of *delivery*. I already had two drivers assigned to deliver! I told him this and he ARGUED with me. I would've understood a change in drivers, I would have even understood if they made a mistake in marking it as pick up instead of delivery, but I do not understand how this man can be SO RUDE to a customer! I've used yelp only once before, this was offensive enough for me to use it again. I can't even rate the food, the experience was just awful.

Take out is great, but it's disgustingly hot inside every time I'm going to pick up the food.

Haven't ordered from this restaurant in a while because my past experiences have never been that great. It's been a couple years so decided to give it another chance and truly regretted it. I ordered 3 different dinners and ALL 3 were very disappointing! Absolutely NO flavor at all. One of the meals was pasta with garlic and butter. Would've been a little satisfied had they put ANY garlic in it- but NO garlic at all! The other 2 meals were just as disappointing. Completely bland! Sadly, I won't be ordering from them again.

The minestrone is still delicious, I quit pizza for the weight issues but kid just loves it like he did 5 years ago, when we started ordering from this cafe, Last week I tried the lasagna and I loved it . Honest review is I don't see any drop in quality.

OMGoodness... we live here part time and order delivery from these guys a lot. The food is absolutely amazing! Every single time and every single thing we order is without fail, ouststanding and yummy! The service (delivery) is timely. They're salad menu is extensive and very creative. There's all most too many choices, LOL. The one thing we order every time, is the grilled veggies. They are tantalizing.
It seems the negative posts are from in store experiences. We haven't been there in person, so I can't say. But if you want some damn good food.....you NEED to give these guys a try. And oh by the way, the portions are huge for the money. We almost never finish what we order. It's OK though, as we have leftovers for another meal. We love these guys, and will keep calling them and trying different things.

High prices not worth the trip, cheesesteak special is the only thing going for them. If you just want a quick bite, yes get a dry slice to go.

Chicken Portafino. Terrible. I sent it back and the waitress said the owners response was that I would still have to pay for it! The best he could do was half off. So they hand me the bill and suddenly the best they could do was $5.00 off the $13.00 item. Not only is this restaurant an epic fail for food...apparently they can't do basic math.

Go to Limoncello's if you want bad food and poor service.

One of the better pizza places in the area. The servers are always friendly. Try the muscles, Yum!
