Service and food quality was excellent, I had the filet mignon and the wife had salmon, price was sort of high but worth it. We will definitely be back.

Such a wonderful restaurant right on the water with a nice view. The waiter Christian was friendly and accommodating. He let me know what dishes were vegetarian friendly and what could be changed to make it vegetarian. He checked in on our table and consistently filled our drinks. All the food came out in a timely manner and tasted great! The potato skins were nice and crispy and the dipping sauces were full of flavor. I got the Etouffee Risotto Bowl which came with a side of steamed broccoli. The risotto was nice and spicy and filled with flavor and the steamed broccoli was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Wonderful service, friendly servers, accommodating, and a variety of flavorful dishes!

We had a great lunch overlooking the lake. The service by our server Christian was wonderful as he was very accommodating and very attentive due to some food allergies. They are also verified on Untapped. The interior is freshly painted and restaurant very clean as well

Was on vacation and visited here on a good recommendation, there were five of us and it was a Monday night...didn't seem busy. We were seated promptly and our order taken quickly, the food came out surprisingly quick.
My one guest ordered the jalapeño chicken....dried out and no jalapeño. Also ordered the steak and mushroom soup...he described it as mush with warm water. I wasn't told about this till after we had left...
Two burgers and a French dip...all good no complaints!
I had the shrimp and grits with Tasso Ham....the best I've had ever....I've had a lot and this was by far my favorite!
The downside of this meal was our server who could hardly be bothered to refill our drinks, he tried to take away our plates before we had finished...I wish I could call him out by name...but I tossed the receipt.
I would give this place a better score if not for our interaction with the server...if you go and your server is male with a blondish red hair cut...ask for another server!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marcy T.Jacksonville, FL6351Aug 25, 2023
Always eat here when we are in Keowee.
They have a great menu and food is consistently good! Have the stuffed flounder or the salmon if you like fish. Both are great! Our server was so much fun and gave us excellent service. The vibe is resort casual with many travelers stopping by. If you are in the area put this place on your list!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mia G.SC, SC061Oct 29, 2023
Awesome place to grab dinner! The outside seating has a lovely view, and the inside is nice and quiet. We chose to be seated inside. Food and service was great. Ordered the Almond crusted chicken, portions and taste were good. The server was lovely, very attentive and polite.

Sunday brunch prices too high for what you get. I'm not a big eater and prefer smaller portions, but the eggs Benedict was like a child's portion and not that good.

Staff and manager are always friendly and happy to see us. Food is good and arrives hot. We enjoy inside dining and out and out with great views of the lake. Sometimes we come by boat with our lab and she is greeted warmly and given a bowl of fresh water. Reservations help avoid a wait for a table

Memorial Day weekend is a sleepy time at Clemson and on Sunday many restaurants are closed. This place was doing good business, family had to sit in a bar booth to avoid a wait. Probably should have waited for a table with a view.
Service was good, had a few waitresses covering the area. Several SC beers on tap. Pretzel appetizer was good, though soggier than I was expecting. Everyone enjoyed their meals from fish to burgers to chicken. Was a good meal.
I'll note the menu photos on yelp are outdated.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steve L.Gastonia, NC0121Aug 30, 2023
We're always drawn in by the location, but the atmosphere is a little dated. It seems to be stuck somewhere between a casual and nice restaurant with nice restaurant prices. The service was ok. The standard food was decent. Seafood was marginal at best.
My son ordered chicken wings. I think he enjoyed them. His friend ordered a filet, which he enjoyed. I didn't taste it, but it looked to be prepared properly. I ordered the grouper. It came topped with a weird flat mini crab cake. The crab cake was burned up and gross. The vegetable was broccoli. It was undercooked/hard and lukewarm. The risotto was hot, and the best thing in the plate. The grouper was cool, mushy, and swimming in some kind of oil or grease. I ate about three bites. Yuck! My wife ordered the crab stuffed flounder. It was good, but not great. Her broccoli was also cold. I have had lunch here before and suspected food was warmed up from the night before. This was 7:30 at night, and it wasn't busy.
My conclusion, they either are clueless, or just don't care. Total bill around $150, but left thinking we should have gone somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
