Unbelievable truffle fries! Had the blue Angel burger without the barbecue sauce-wow was it good! Lots of blue cheese and caramelized onions on the burger, which was not overcooked. They clearly know how to cook a good burger. Excellent bun-not too much bread and very tasty.
I'll say it again - a great burger!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 28, 2018
Lexie's is freaking delicious, there are no two ways about it. The burgers are juicy and flavorful and they have tons of out of the box options and creative combos. You can choose one of their special burgers or build one yourself, and if you're not a meat eater they also have a killer veggie burger or a chicken patty/burger that you can have instead.
The milkshakes are crazy good, and so are the fries. The ones with the parmesan and herbs on them rock my socks. Seriously, the hardest thing about going to eat here is trying to choose what you're going to eat and have some restraint... I usually tell myself one burger and EITHER fries or a shake. But sometimes I cave and get it all, because it's just that good.
I've tried most of the burgers on their menu (and some of the daily specials) and I have literally never had a bad meal here. Service is quick and friendly, and prices are reasonable. If you haven't been here, go now. You won't regret it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Randi W.Lee, MA12710Oct 26, 2017
I don't normally write reviews for places like Lexie's, but I was so disappointed with my strawberry milkshake yesterday I can't resist.
I stopped in for a quick takeaway of veggie burger and a shake.
It was pretty quiet, but the order still took a few minutes-fairly standard, I suppose, but I like to think I whipped out orders much faster when I worked the line at La Festa Brick & Brew in Dover.
It's nice that Lexie's has the option to make any of their burgers vegetarian. The black bean patty was good-nicely salted, nicely 'crispy fried' but still soft in the middle.
I ordered it with a gluten free bun. The veggie patty itself was not gluten free, but I still like to cut as much gluten out as possible.
I forget the name of the burger I ordered, but it came with fried onion rings, horseradish aioli, mushrooms and blue cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but would have liked more toppings (that's usually how it goes). I had to add a little ketchup when I got home to make it more flavorful.
The milkshake, however, was atrocious. When I ordered a strawberry milkshake, I expected it to be made with strawberry ice cream or even better with fresh strawberries.
Nope, it was vanilla ice cream with that nasty fake fruit they sometimes use as pie filling. It totally ruined the shake for me.
Not to mention it cost $4.25. Four dollars and twenty-five cents for an abomination!
It was still a milkshake after all, so I drank it anyway.
The Portsmouth Lexie's location, which has been around much longer, has more menu options and I am hoping better milkshakes.
I'm not saying not to go to Lexie's, but just beware before you order a milkshake. I have had much better elsewhere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Susan M.Ashland, MA202218Jul 28, 2018
We were very excited this little burger joint was on our way to Dover from Raymond. Perfect spot in the center of UNH. I had the "Green Meunster". My hubby had the "Put a ring on it". Onion rings were absolutely delicious!. Service was prompt and very efficient and kind. Prices are a good value. I'm sure mid Summer it was slow. Highly recommend to families checking out UNH.
Glad to know there are 3 more locations to try.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tiara W.Sanford, ME1111447Apr 4, 2018
I ordered take out for the first time at this location and was a bit disappointed after reading all the 5 star reviews. While the food was in no way terrible, it was nothing spectacular either. The size of the burger is average and the burgers weren't anything special that I couldn't make at home. The fries were a bit bland and soggy. The service was friendly enough, but as others have mentioned the wait was a bit long.

While the food ingredients are of good quality, the presentation is flimsy and minimal (think dripping burger on a tiny paper platter); the time wait is excessive; and the service is poor.
Last month I got lunch at Lexie's with a colleague. There were several open tables, but we chose to sit at the bar. We ordered drinks, and upon receiving them, made our food order. I'd finished my iced tea well before the meal arrived (too much ice!), but neither our server nor the other one (both of whom were frequently behind the bar counter), even noticed my empty glass or thought to check up on us. Eventually I had to call her over to request a refill.
The burgers took at least 25 minutes; mine was immersed in a puddle of its own juice, so the bottom bun was completely wet. My side of fries never showed up, and I mentioned this when the order came, but still no fries arrived after several minutes. I had to call the server over and remind her about the fries, and she acted defensively, as though it was the first time she'd heard of it. When the fries finally arrived, they were extremely hot to the touch, and my burger was mostly finished, save for the soggy bottomed bun.
Bottom line: although I do like the overall Lexie's concept and think the food is of decent quality, the inadequate presentation, excessive waiting time and apathetic service really soured the overall experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jam N.Portland, ME968187Jun 12, 2016
We were so psyched to find out there was a Lexie's in Durham!!!!!
The restaurant itself is roomier and nicer than the one in Portsmouth and the food is just as terrific!
I must say this is the best burger place in the area and we will definitely be back!
Today we made perfect time as it got extremely busy as we finished our burgers and there were only two girls running the front room - they were busting their butts and doing the best they could to make sure everyone had their orders in and what they needed.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Danielle T.Durham, NH2611Feb 6, 2018
