Absolutely terrible customer service!! I would never, ever, ever as much as *walk* by this place if you paid me $1 M.
They took my money, knowing that they did not have the frames in stock, then tried selling me the scratched display model, saying that the scratches wouldn't impede me from seeing through the lenses. Then the beaming manager said s/he would *personally* drive to another branch to see if my frames were available there. Wow, what a delight!!--you're actually going to drive somewhere to see if you can meet your end of the bargain and provide me with a product I paid for weeks ago? Oh please!
The sales reps are unapologetic, defensive and patronizing. They are incapable of simple logical reasoning and of displaying any sympathy for customers. I suspect that the company breeds this behavior because they have overpriced, substandard products.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Linda D.High Point, NC5595142Aug 15, 2017
We've been to this location several times and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. After an extremely negative experience (repeatedly) with the location in Friendly Center, and several issues (not the fault of the mall location), the staff at the mall Lens Crafters has bent over backwards to help us correct the issue. We've made 3 trips to this location to fix the problem and will be making one last trip this week, but it's been very pleasant working with them and I don't dread it at all like I did dealing with the other location.
side bonus - you can get a meal in the food court or warm pretzels downstairs while you wait for your glasses!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nancy H.WRITSVLLE BCH, NC02Apr 23, 2024
I purchased a pair of progressive glasses from LensCrafters. I chose a large frame pair. I tried for 2 weeks to get adjusted to them and it gave me headaches plus I had to raise my head and look down each time I had to read something. I went back and explained the situation to the optometrist. She told me to keep trying. Soon my 30 days was up with no change and I couldn't return them. Later, I discussed this with my ophthalmologist and he said with large lenses the progression is more spread out than with smaller lenses. I asked him why I wasn't told this at LensCrafters and he said it's a matter of education. Now I've paid $400. for glasses I can't use.

I would be willing to go around without glasses before I ever went back to LensCrafters at 4 seasons town center. Not only did Bryant, the manager, mess up my glasses, but then he lied to me saying the reason I had absolutely no peripheral vision whatsoever was because of my prescription. I called my ophthalmologist and he said that was a blatant lie! Bryant very interestingly never bothered to tell me when I complained about the glasses that the company offered me a 30 Day money back guarantee, and when I walked out of the store not a word was uttered of apology or anything.
Now only did I call corporate (that made them give me the money back), but they even told me that he was supposed to not only apologize and try to correct the problem, but to let me know about the money back guarantee if I was not satisfied (which Bryant again I'm sure purposefully never mentioned!).
$300+ spent and he obviously didn't give a rip about the customer, just making a sale and getting his commission!
After I got the money back (because of corporate's help!) I went to eyemart express, and for the same amount of money got a pair of glasses that I like better, very good Customer Service (something Bryant obviously knows nothing about!), and believe it or not I have beautiful peripheral vision with them!
RUN from this location! I would go to friendly center if you have to use the company because the 4 seasons town center store is managed by someone (Bryant) who is unethical, and has proven to be a liar! So what would he say to you to get a sale that was untruthful or misleading, with him knowing it just to get a sale from you? Do you want to take a chance and risk your eyes like that???Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Everyone is super friendly and the eye exam is really quick. If you are looking for a really good eye doctor, I definitely recommend them.
