Never known about Lee's Marketplace for long times! Since I start doing my cake order from them my family's and friends ask me who made the cakes? The cakes are so delicious! Also their donuts! Especially their meat are so fresh and their fresh fruit and vegetables too.. Now my family and friends knows where to go buy cakes, donuts and etc. I really love their bakery employees, they how's how to makes their customers happy with their order!!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. What I ordered and what I received are not even in the same hemisphere. Called to speak to someone about it and was talked over, given excuses, spoken to very condescendingly and hung up on. I asked her not to speak over me and eventually asked to speak to a manager after she continued to do so. She said the manager would agree with HER and hung up on me.

Love this store! They have so much great food. Their produce is far superior to any other store I have been to. Then you have got the outstanding Bakery, Deli, Meat Dept and exceptional Customer Service you get while there. This store by far surpasses any other store in the area!

I used to love this place! That was until my boyfriend and I started using self check out. We always scan everything and never have a problem. The employees are usually kind except for this time. People were coming and going no problem. The person who watches the self check out was just telling everyone to have a good day and not checking their receipts. That was until my boyfriend and I finished checking out. The lady told us to have a good day and we were about to leave and she looked my boyfriend and i up and down and noticed we have tattoos. Then that's when she decided to say "Wait can I see your receipt?" To her surprise we paid for everything! Shocking. She decided to profile us for tattoos. If your going to check one persons receipt make sure you check everyone's. Once my favorite store now to my least favorite. We also were new to the area, so we can see how terrible the people are now.

I popped in lees one day for cookies for my sons class at school, it was the first time going in. I was impressed with the bakery options as well as the options for people with allergies. The employees were very friendly and even offered to help put my cookies in the car since I had two kids with me. I now have a new grocery store!

Jon and Tim contacted me and had the pallet of water I ordered delivered today for the price I was expecting! Thank you for showing me that Lee's still values our business. We are completely satisfied!
Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 12, 2019Previous reviewThe service has gone way down hill. Even though we all know we are paying way to much shopping here, I have tried to support this kinda local business. I ordered a pallet of water here a month ago for the price that it was on sale at. Alexis just informed me that they lost my order and can't get the water. I have been checking on the order each week for the past 3 weeks when I am in the store each manager at night has said they will get right in it. Alexis was quite rude and didn't offer any good solutions. Basically pay the price it's at now or get the western family water that's filled from the tap. Looks like we will take our business back across the street to Smith's. She also implied the mistake was on my part by not taking to her! I didn't even know she existed until today.
May 25, 2013Previous reviewThis store used to have the name of acres market. It is now Lees. Great place to get local groceries. The meat department and the Deli are fantastic. The pharmacy does a good accurate job without any errors that we have experienced.
May 4, 2013Previous reviewWe shop at Lees nearly every time! Lees has a bright clean store with friendly staff. I am not sure that I have ever been in the store without someone asking me if I was finding everything OK. I must have looked lost, dazed, confused? No, it is just the way customer service works at Lees. If you are seeming like you can not find something even for a moment someone will be there to help. Lees a great Pharmacy also. Troy Parks and his team do a great job. They are consistent, fast, friendly and will answer any questions you have about your medication. The produce section at Lees is good with a large variety of items to choose from. The in house meat counter as apposed to the out of house meat counter so the selection is fresh and tasty.
Lees has hired several checkers so you do hot have to wait in a line. It seems like the only time I have waited is for one of the sweet purple haired lady's in front of me to write their check out and then balance the check book in line. All in all Lees is a great place to shop in North Ogden, Utah! - Taylor M.MSC, UT868145Jun 6, 2018
These guys hung me out to dry in a big way.
My kids got their tonsils out and a compounded medication was sent to this pharmacy for each kid. The doctor that sent the medication thought that this pharmacy would fill it. They didn't.
Instead of calling the doctor to correct this error and send the script back or even getting in touch with me, they hung onto it.
Here I am after picking up the kids from surgery and ready to take them home and get their meds and then I find out there's a problem. That's not okay with me. If there was a problem, someone damn well should have said something instead of letting me try to come in for pick up.
Also, the staff were not great either. The girl I spoke with apologized but said she wasn't there when the script came in. Instead of admitting fault she passed the buck to a nameless employee that let it go. I'm not stupid. I know there is a schedule written for who works when, she knew damn well who was working that day but she never once called anyone else or tried to ask anyone else what happened with the script.
This level of customer service is just sad. That's what I get for not going with a CVS. I've never been treated so badly at my Layton CVS. I'll never come back to this pharmacy as long as I live.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Troy C.Syracuse, UT553951000Sep 30, 2017
In a world full of rubber stamped chain markets, Lee's stands out in the crowd. It appears that Lee's is part of the associated foods group so you will find Western Family "generic" products but you'll also find much more.
Lee's has its own brand of cheese, all of which are made locally and are great quality, pricing is very good, especially if they are on sale. They have an onsite butcher and they tend to have some of the best meat prices in the area. During my visit yesterday they had extra lean ground beef for $2.29 a pound and boneless pork ribs for $1.99.
Apparently, they have some of the best donuts in town. While there I noted the line was 5 people deep to get to the self-service donut case. Unfortunately, I am on a diet so donuts were not on my shopping list but I did cruise past them slowly and they looked and smelled wonderful.
They have a small bulk foods area. Of special note is the wide variety of bulk spices. They had dozens of spices at very reasonable prices with an exceptional delivery system. You can buy any amount so you don't have to buy a huge bottle of a costly spice you are only going to use once a year.
Overall Lee's has a very good selection at reasonable prices with friendly service. The extras they offer justify the 20-mile trek required for me to shop there.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - David R.MA, MA04Feb 8, 2021

Floral Dept:
We ordered our bridal & wedding bouquets from Lee's in North Ogden, and we are VERY PLEASED! Stacy manages the department, and we took in some photos of the bouquets we wanted, and she made the most BEAUTIFUL ARRANGEMENTS!!!!! She was great to work with, we wanted a few of the buds taken to the bakery to put on the cake, and she worked everything out so nicely! Our wedding was the Saturday after Mother's Day, and the same day as their "Lee's Food Show," so it was an incredibly stressful time for her to get enough flowers in & have them all ready, but she was very professional. She was great to teach us how to store them to keep them looking great, and was one of our favorite people to work with during the entire wedding experience.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
