Been here a few times now and really wondering why. Seems to have gone downhill the last 6 months or so, has never been more than a 3 star homey cafe, but the service was better. Last couple of times my order was incorrect, the service was slow and the food wasn't very good. Maybe We were there on bad days, but probably won't go back anytime soon. Much better options...

B-ummer. Just left the place and I don't understand why they charge so much. The "salad bar" was a mix of deli counter stuff; carrot/raison, pea, gross greens. My pork chops were bland. ..blah, and frozen veggies as a side, the baked potato was yummy.  kiddos liked the salmon, but the sides are disgusting.

Rude kitchen lady (supposedly the owner??) should hire a cook instead of flailing around in an area where she clearly has no experience or skill. Keep this twit out of the kitchen! On the second failed attempt to NOT put peppers in an omelette, she used them as a GARNISH (?!?!), "over medium" translates to "rock hard and crisp" eggs, and the hash browns were cool in the middle (still refrigerated) and yet somehow greasy? How can you screw this up further? Oh, I know! Serve 'em up with a side of warm n slimy canned peaches. Ick.

I felt bad for the sweet and accommodating waitress: the cook blamed her for the cook's own errors. Loudly. Across the whole restaurant. In front of tons of people. Repeatedly. She took our order promptly and read it back correctly, the kitchen just couldn't get it together.

The service is good, but they are hindered by crappy ingredients and unskilled boorish kitchen staff. This is NOT the place to eat breakfast in Enumclaw. Check out the kettle or Krain corner.

The family and I went for Sunday breakfast here while we were out and about in the claw. We were very happy with our decision. The wife had the chicken fried steak and finish only half. Our boy had pancakes and eggs. The pancakes were very fluffy and filling. I had joes special and took half home, very tasty I'm eating the other half as I write this!!! Overall service was up to par. Waiter was attentive enough. A great find in the claw!!! We will go back and try a burger or sandwich!!

Great small-town restaurant with really good food. Not a touristy type of place- it looked like the waitstaff knew most of the diners. It was a usual Sunday-morning type of crowded but the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. My brother got the Lee's special, and I regretted not ordering it as well. Even so, my steel-cut oatmeal was fantastic with berries, cream and brown sugar, and a more than generous portion size.

An unassuming little place in a smaller and still somewhat agrarian city, The Lee is the classic small town America diner, lacking only animal heads and old rifles and shotguns on the walls.

I ordered biscuits and gravy with hash browns and extra sausage - turns out they use a VERY mild sausage but they get the gravy consistency just right - add some black pepper and bland morphs to YUM. Hash browns came out tasting of second hand steak, so some points lost there.

Service is attentive and unobtrusive and the waiter-boy is made of farm-bred cuteness.

In a moment of weakness, dessert was ordered - Toll House pie was ordered and a chocolate shake. Toll House pie was simply the best I've had - yummy AND not hideously rich.

Sure, it's Enumclaw... and it's nothing to "write home about"... and there were plenty of elder folk... and a lottery thingy is up front... and it's super diner-y... and...

But hey, it was alright. Our server, who has been doing her thing there for 33 years, was really nice and almost had that grandma charm to her. Usually noticed elder groups or families here, perhaps all regulars at some point.

I had me a French Dip with swiss cheese and grilled onions. MMM. Finger-licking---no, HAND-licking---good... like a dog or cat licks their paws clean!

Nice little restaurant. After spending a week in Packwood, we were on our way back to Seattle before heading home from a family vacation. The breakfast portions were large, priced well, and tasted good. The atmosphere and staff were nice and friendly. If we were lived in the area, I could see this being a nice place for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

Went here with church group. We had 12 people, and still got served in a decent time with only a couple minor errors on the orders that were quickly fixed. You get a lot of food for your value. The loaded french fries have a lot of toppings.... a lot of different fried food. Not too bad, but nothing special really.

Old school type of restaurant.  Home style food at a good price, and plenty of it.  Waiter was out going.  We had our lunches quickly and properly prepared.

This is a convenient place to eat if you're in Enumclaw. I came to eat here with a vegetarian friend. They didn't have any particular vegetarian dishes but they had a few things he was able to order. Oddly, though they have an extensive burger menu, they don't have a veggie burger. The prices are amazingly cheap! If you're looking for a cheap place you can't beat The Lee. I ordered a grilled cheese and a Caeser Salad. The grilled cheese was terrific. The Caeser had olives in it, which is not customary. I don't care for olives and sent it back. They made another in a more traditional manner. I'd definitely eat here again, especially if I was on a budget.

Went to breakfast there this morning with a friend. Have never been. Had tge ham and cheese omelet, very good and a big portion.  They grate their own hash browns and you could tell. Some of the bet hash browns I have had in a long time.  We went early, 0730, and lots of old timers there. Waitress was very friendly.

• First to Review

I'm a fan of the oldest restaurant in Enumclaw (i think I read that somewhere). Beth and I were on our way back from Rainier and everyone was closing up shop at about 8pm. We didn't want to eat at a bar and we didn't want fast food, so we went to The Lee. This totally amazing waitress let us in and was SO NICE AND TOOK CARE OF US. It was such a great experience.

The food was what you'd expect at a family restaurant-- mostly nothing to write home about. But I liked my burger and the server was so sweet that I'd totally go back.

Food is exactly what you would expect. Drive by the place and you will understand what I mean. That said, the service here is on par, if not better than, most of the 4 star places in Seattle. A decent place to eat if you aren't in the mood for bar food, Mexican or fast food since that's about all Enumclaw has to offer these days...

Will never eat here again. My husband and I had dinner here one evening. Our meal came with baked potatoes. They brought this tray with cups of butter, Bacon ,cheese and sour cream. A table next to ours asked the server for their baked potato sides so he came to us took our used baked potato sides and brought them to that table. Total health violation. God knows what else they do back in the kitchen. I worked as a waitress for 14 years and was just disgusted. Will never eat their again.

When you're in the mood for a good greasy spoon, check this place out. Love their Joe's Special for breakfast, the patty melt, and chuckwagon dip. You can substitute a side salad instead of fries and the service is always friendly.

Dine in the bar and you will not only get a killer drink but free entertainment!  The food is edible and affordable.  A classic all around.
