Fish of the day, canard and most of all, chocolate cake... awesome. No more words needed.

Another one permanently closed. Yelp! really needs to do some research and delete a lot of the listings. The COVID Era was an unkind one.

Our tour guide from Sandeman- Harry had recommended Le Jardin d'en Face to eat at around Montmarte. After seeing the Moulin Rouge, we walked around and looked for the restaurant.
The outside is so cute. I love the signage of the restaurant. Upon going in, it is such a cute little restaurant. I love the authentic french feel of it. The server was really nice and seated us right away even though we did not have a reservation.
He told us the special of the day. I ended up getting the pumpkin soup and medium beef pepper.
The meals came out fantastic. I love the ambiance of this place so much. I would love to come back here again.
I highly recommend this place! - 11727512157/20/2019
Beautiful setting, quaint and charming. Lovely street side seating and a cozy comfortable inside. Very friendly and accommodating service.
The meal was excellent. Started with a mushroom tart which was fresh and flavorful. I got the fish of the day, a whole sea bass. The amount was perfect for one person. It was seasoned perfectly, light and tender, the meat broke right off of the bone. Served with a small salad and rice. - 27931288230810/18/2017
This is the sister restaurant to le portage across the street. We weren't able to eat at la portage because it was fully booked for the night so we ended up here.
The waiter is super friendly and nice, very welcoming to foreigners and locals alike.
The restaurant is small and cramped fits maybe 25 people, and you will be sitting shoulder to shoulder if you are larger than a child.
Menu changes often, but we had the smoked duck breast with baked cheese and potatos, duck breast with veggies, and the baked foie gras appetizer.
The duck breast dishes were very tender, and also massively portioned. We were both unable to finish our food because the portions were so huge. The foie gras was sooo buttery and soft. I wish I could have it everyday.
Great spot for dinner, even worth the uber ride if you don't live close enough! - 58359861512/16/2017
Originally, my friend and I were going to dine at Le Potager however there were no tables available for us. The server informed us that this place was a sister restaurant to theirs and has similar food items. We were able to snag a table at this quaint, cozy lit restaurant.
Upon looking at the menu, I noticed all of their dishes seemed to very hearty and homely. I was literally starving when we arrived, so I ordered the beef steak with pepper sauce which also came with salad, green beans, and potatoes. Delicious! The meat quality was definitely there and the pepper sauce paired very, very well with the meat. For an appetizer, we ordered the eggplant and tomatoes with cottage cheese which was just okay in my opinion. I would definitely say skip on the appetizers and go straight for the main course!
I would say if you're in a rush, do not come here as there's only one chef in the tiny kitchen that is preparing all of the dishes for the patrons. But overall, I am glad we paid this establishment a visit! - Michael H.Reston, VA1523431/21/2020
What a delightful surprise to find in Montmartre :) We loved EVERYTHING they put in front of us, we loved the yummy French cuisine! The restaurant is small and charming and Florian was so very kind and genuinely happy to see us and take care of us. We can't wait to come back next time we are in Paris! Thanks so much for the amazing recommendation YELP :)

First meal in Paris....I would say not bad. The interior design of the resturant is very nice. The server friendly. We order duck. My mouth were watering looking at the menu. Their menu changes not too big of a selection but enough selection for you to choose. We also have a bottle of wine.

Cozy small establishment. I had two appetizers and a glass of wine. Their egg with fois gras was amazing but their terrine with blue cheese and pear was disappointing.

This restaurant is the sister restaurant to Le Potager across the street. But this restaurant is no step-sister!
Welcomed with open arms and a friendly bon soir, we entered the small, packed bistro.
Ordered the King prawns, which were cooked al dente, atop a light, herb butter sauce. It came with a fresh green salad and scoop of white rice. Heaven on a plate!
Ordered the vanilla ice cream with fresh berries coulis for dessert. The ice cream was not even white! Dense and rich flavor, and the coulis was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.
The perfect dessert to finish my glass of wine.
One of my best meals in Paris!
