Layette is the best children's clothing store in Texas! The superior quality clothes and wide selection of sizes is truly unique. Proactive and knowledgeable customer service will help you navigate the selection of high-end clothes. They have helped my find countless gifts, that they offer to gift wrap with no hassle.

I just bought my second baby gift in a month from Layette, and there is no better place in Dallas to do so. Forget the gift card and the chain stores and let these ladies help you. They'll make you feel surprisingly comfortable.

Poor customer service and very unwelcoming. This seems to be common behavior in Dallas boutiques, though. You would think for a small business, they would go above and beyond to make their customers feel most welcome and comfortable. Not these folks!

This is just the greatest store- huge selection of really gorgeous special occasion clothes and cool timeless play options, plus gifts! I have no children myself, but many in my life so I rely on the sweet staff to help me choose gifts for everything from birthdays to christenings. The buyer clearly has exceptional taste. Best in Dallas by far.

The clothes in this store are so cute but the customer service is terrible. I was in the store for 10 minutes without being greeted. I couldn't find the size I needed and was looking for a while on one shelf and not one of the three workers asked if I needed help. The three women were just having a conversation with eachother. I was the only person in the store. I left without purchasing anything.

These people know so much about baby clothes and are always ready to help you. Their clothes are the most classic in Dallas. I could just spend hours in this store with these fun employees (and I have). Even if you aren't into traditional clothing, they have play clothes and a giant selection of toys and books for all ages. Once you even go into the store, you will be part of their family. I love love love Layette and it's fun atmosphere.

My wife just visited Layette. We live in Highland Park, so we are their target customers well as being older parents with 4 grown children in their late 20's to early 30's. She was returning a gift for our new grandson. She was not greeted upon entering this small shop and was then made to feel that she was not welcome. The woman tried several times to let her know that the size was indeed appropriate and that "she should keep it" and " just try it for a while". Now, how would she know that if my grandson was not there? I suggested to my wife that she never return, and make sure that our HP friends and neighbors know about her experience. And to the employee: just because the romper comes with "feet", doesn't mean she should not buy socks! I guess you didn't understand she wanted to use up all the $$ and never come back! Please keep the remaining balance. Merry Christmas.

My husband, baby and I visited Layette and were immediately greeted as we entered the store with a stern "can I help you find something? It was so odd, like we weren't allowed in with a baby or interrupted the clerk. It was not a good first impression and felt very un-welcoming so we left.

I LOVE the boutique! It has unique, yet classic baby and toddler clothing and gifts. There are a couple of salespeople there that always help me to find something fabulous quickly. I also like how they let my small children come in and play even when we aren't really looking for anything in particular. They are also one of the few places to find Rachel Riley clothing.
