Give them 3 stars for selection, but prices are inflated on the "in demand" stuff, so thus no 4 stars. I get it, "supply and demand"...but it works both ways.

Best local bottle spot you'll find in all of USA. Local owner on sight at all times with a well trained serving staff. Always an off premise spirit rep offering samples! Always. Happy to have such a great local business to support! 5

I appreciate that the store was well lit and that there was a large selections of spirits to choose from. However it just felt too busy and cluttered. Seems like there was room for improvement regarding the layout but grateful it was organized. I wasn't welcomed when I entered and didn't get addressed by safe but at least I didn't feel unwelcome.

Basically I've experienced much worse and better.

Huge store in a great location that's easy to get to with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and very helpful in helping you find the right gift for someone or just finding something new to try. You definitely want to come on the weekend afternoons for their sampling's and try out some local brands!

The favorite place to grab some Texan, Irish and German spirits. My recent trip was as good as always. Plenty of very knowledgeable staff to help you find something you want and to help suggest items you might want. Not just one person, but 3 different ones this trip. There are larger competitors that can't match the level of service this store has.

The product mix is absolutely fantastic! Be it wine, beer, or stronger. I'm pretty particular and they always have what I'm looking for (at least for the stuff that is available in the US).

It is small, but the shelves and aisles are well used. Prices are good and they always seem to have a special on what I am looking for. I really like how little time I have to spend in here to get what I want. My last trip was absolutely the same as all others. Less than 3 minutes.

This is one amazing neighborhood liquor store. I love shopping here. Across all spirits, the selection is unmatched. The staff is definitely knowledgeable and able to make some recommendations based on my price and or what I'm looking for. I am also a fan of single barrel bourbons and Lakewood Medallion has a TON of them! I will keep shopping here...support your local independent liquor stores!

Lakewood Medallion was selected to sell a Four Roses barrel select for Dallas Bourbon Club. When I go to pick up, I was told I need to buy a bottle of Wilderness Trail for $60 in order to get the Four Roses bottling! Pure bull crap. I did take a walk through the store and also noticed they significantly mark up in-demand bottles. Avoid this establishment.

Great location but the I didn't love the organization, hence 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. We went to Lakewood on a Friday night and it was pretty crowded, especially considering it was the night before St. Patrick's Day. They must not have much of a stock room, because a lot of unpacked product was on the floor. The layout of the store was affected by it, as many aisles were blocked by cardboard boxes. Additionally, stuff was not easy to find, which was compounded by the sheer volume of bottles on the floor.

Prices weren't crazy, a half gallon of Tito's was $29.99. We got some good prices on some Napa cabs and a pinot, but the wine selection was probably the worst of the three (beer, liquor, wine). The beer selection was probably the best out of the 3, with several Texas beers represented in addition to the usual suspects.

There is not much parking out front, but there is more on the side and in the rear. Very friendly employees. Serviceable liquor store that will not blow you away with its selection, but definitely gets the job done.
