Lake Region Fitness is absolutely the best. It is situated inside the Hawley Silk Mill and occupies one big room, a spin studio, and a open studio for other classes.
The large room has treadmills and ellipticals, all with televisions attached. (FYI - Bring your headphones because otherwise you can't listen.) They also have a great selection of machines and free weights. The whole things is exceptionally clean and the natural lighting flowing through the gym makes it a nice place to exercise.
If you're not from the area, they have $10 day passes. (which you can also use to attend classes) The women's locker room is spotless, with about 10 lockers (but bring your own lock), a huge shower, and plenty of space to change.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chrissy G.Chicago, IL25410Aug 5, 2019
This place is awesome. I love coming to our family's lake house each summer, but lament the fact that there's nowhere to workout, run, or generally stay in shape, but not since I found this place!
It's got a great selection of weights, cables, Smith machine, barbells, TRX, etc. $10 for a day pass but I ended up just paying the $60 monthly fee because it's totally reasonable.
Thank you for helping me keep up my workout routine while on vacay!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hope C.San Diego, CA03Oct 25, 2020
I like the gym however the music makes me want to run out as quickly as possible - pure dark, evil music. I guess as long as the employee enjoys it, it's all good. Noticed only with one particular employee.
