We found this place after running late for a show at Off Cabot. My wife jumped out of the car as I went to find a parking spot. It was a perfect pit stop. First off, the gentleman that greats you at the front of the restaurant was awesome. very helpful, understanding and friendly. He helped with the take-out orders, as well, which got customers in and out.
My wife ordered a taco dish, which she loved....see pic.
The amount of people coming in to pick up orders was amazing. Mexican street food at its best!

Best take out in beverly. Highly recommend.
Inside is nice, very limited seating options... even parking outside is sparse.
For vegetarians: the veggie options are relatively basic, and still expensive. Think 10$+ for just veggies, beans and rice in a burrito. The service is quick and they've never messed up any of our orders.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 7, 2022Updated review
Because I love La Victoria Taqueria and their authentic, quality food, I've given them a handful more chances to redeem themselves and I believe they have. The service is great; they are very friendly and helpful, even though they have so many orders. It's nice to see that they are really busy, because I remember when they first opened and was shocked that they weren't more popular. Now they are, rightfully so.
They have great food, whether you get the tacos, the burritos, the bowls, or the tortas, you can't go wrong. Their tortas are the best though. I've tried the marinated chicken, steak and vegetables, and the chicken is my favorite, as the veggies are very fresh but unseasoned. I do wish the burrito was grilled itself to make it crispier rather than soft, but still a great choice. Great prices too! Not overpriced like most Beverly restaurants.
They are better for pick-up/takeout around dinner time due to small interior that has about 6 tables and 4 window seats, with 2 tables outside, but you can also eat in if you have a smaller group.

It's located on a quiet one-way side street, and is easily accessible from the downtown area. This place gets PACKED in the evening; when I ate in, I counted 17 people in the small restaurant waiting for takeout or eat-in during about 30 minutes of waiting + eating. They've gotten extremely popular and handle a large volume of orders.
They have amazing tacos and tortas, filled with fresh ingredients. Their marinated chicken and veggies are the only ones I've tried so far.
I recently had a burrito and there was the top of an avocado in it, mixed in the beans. I stopped coming here years ago because of a similar incident that there was a lollipop stick or something in my torta that shouldn't be there.
I want to love it, I really do. I do love the food, but I shouldn't have to worry that something inedible will be in my food during the very few times I've come here. I don't even frequent here that often for it to be a concern. I didn't say anything because they were so busy that I didn't want to bring it up, but it was disappointing. I shouldn't have to wonder if I'm going to get a surprise in my food every time I visit an establishment.

Note to LVT: please be more careful with your prep area. It totally ruins the experience when an unintended ingredient is added.Jul 21, 2015Previous reviewI've been here 6 times in the past 2 months. They're very good and very addicting. the as staff is so friendly and welcoming I love that and they remembered my order the second time I came:) I had an incident which Angelica was extremely apologetic for and offered to make up to me in any way possible which I really appreciated. the food is very authentic and delicious. it doesn't look nearly as good as it tastes. and they're always busy. they have indoor and outdoor seating. I will be returning regularly even after the incident because they handled it so well and the food is very good. I've also worked in service and I'm not a stuck up person who isn't understanding, so I get that mistakes happen. as long as a business treats you right, and makes great food they should get your business.

We ordered online and then informed the staff that we wanted to eat at the restaurant. We selected a table outside as it was a beautiful night. Our order was completed early and was absolutely outstanding. We have been eating Torta for years, and these were clearly some of the best ever. The meat and cheese grilled together is a nice touch and all the flavors blended perfectly. The fish tacos were a hit as they came beautifully presented had crunch from the slaw and the fish was perfectly prepared. The chicken plato was quite tasty and very filling with the beans and rice. While we sat and ate, at least 20-30 different orders were picked up as this is the go to place for a fantastic Mexican dinner. The restroom was so/so but was as expected for a take out joint. Muchos Gracias! Enjoy!

This place is absolutely incredible! The food is authentic and made with love. It is the type of food where you have to sit in silence after! They have hands down the best tacos I have ever had. If I could worship the surtido tacos I honestly think I would. They are juicy, tender , perfectly seasoned - I could go on forever. I go here so often and almost every time my order is PERFECT. I have had maybe 2 or 3 mishaps ( if you can even call it that) and they have been so incredibly helpful and willing to fix any mistakes. The workers are all so nice and it genuinely fills me with so much joy in the fact that we have this gem of a taco place in the North shore. If I could give this place 100 stars I would!

Homemade chips and guacamole was good!
I got the choriqueso to eta after the reviews on here were so good. Someone's photo on here made it look bomb! Butttttt I didn't care for it. Too much chorizo and not enough cheese. I actually think they over cooked my cheese as it was not drippy and very brown. The cheese actually looks exactly like the bread if you look at my photo. It def does not look like the photo I had seen on here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason P.Salem, MA744Dec 16, 2023
Half the time the food is great. The other half the order is messed up. There should be nothing lost in communication if you order online.

We were in town visiting and needed a quick meal that was tasty and might have some gluten free options. We stopped into La Victoria Taqueria after reading positive reviews. It is a cute and small dining area, the staff was friendly, and they were willing to make quesadillas for my son with corn tortillas. He said 9.8/10 on delicious level! Pricing was very reasonable too, the quesadilla order and can of soda was under $11!! Highly recommend if you are in the Beverly area looking for a tasty quick bite!

La Vic as we call it, continues to be the place we go when the kids want tacos and we want quality.
Such care is taken with the orders and they don't seem to make mistakes. We have had takeout dozens of times and they are spot on, consistent, tasty, a fantastic value for the price and efficient.
If you are in the area and looking for excellent well prepared food to eat at home, I recommend it.
Although they have a few tables inside, I can't recommend eating there as the stream of customers packs the inside and often makes a line out of the door.
Only down side I can think of is that it is crowded when you go in to pick up the food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 16, 2018Previous reviewGreat food. The steak tacos are great.
The burritos are just huge.
Love that they include fresh lime wedges. Makes a difference.
Quesadilla vegetal is great with a huge ant of cheese. Almost too much cheese.
Quick and clean. A local favorite of course.
