The butcher at the meat market played stupid an dumb when we asked about the mixta parrillada. He said we've never had that here. Another butcher overheard this and very kindly said oh ma'am if you're talking about the cooked parrillada it will be over in the deli lunch section. The first butcher was too lazy to converse further with us to provide good customer service. Lazy old guy.

Horrible customer service! We walked in at 8:30pm unaware they closed at 9. The floor was all wet since they where mopping. We started grabbing some grocery's and my husband asked the lady in Spanish if they where closing she yelled back without even looking at him yes I'm closing now. We drove 30 minutes to shop here never again. Deberían tener mas respeto para el cliente. Horrible customer service!

I have mixed feelings about this place sometimes the meat is really good some other times it's not but the only thing that I really dislike about this place and the reason of my review is the way they weight the meat, if you order a pound or two of whatever meat or prepared food in the cafeteria sometimes it's way to obvious that they gave you less than what you ask for and of course they charge you the entire pound this happens specially the cafeteria which they have the scale way far on the back so you can't see it

"Platillo regular" for $7.57 (including sales tax) gets you enough meat (of your choice) for 4 ppl AT LEAST. People are sleeping on this!
Platillo regular a $7.57 (incluso impuestos) te da suficiente carne (de tu gusto) pa llenar 4 personas, DE PERDIDA.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jonathan G.San Francisco, CA01Aug 18, 2022
Out of all the michoacana I've gone to this is one of the worst. I asked for a plate of food and out off the 6 sides they had the kitchen lady didn't let me get others sides beside rice and beans. Even after I asked here and told here that I would pay the difference she denied anything else.

Great place to get your marinated meats, and authentic pastries, ingredients etc.
People are always friendly.
Prices are great. Did I mention the marinated meat. Throw this on the grill and you've got better than any restaurant flavor. Your guests will ask for the recipe..... I guarantee it. Marinated boneless chicken and fajita beef.....yumHelpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kelly F.Plano, TX1115411Jul 22, 2020
They have the best premarinated beef flank steak for fajitas! Also have great salsas fresh tortillas and pretty much anything you'd ever need for taco/fajitas

Tacos and Caldo de Rez. If you are going to eat here these are the two items you should have.
What kind of tacos, you ask? Whatever they are serving (cafeteria style) In most days they have 3-4 chicken entrees, lengua, chicharones, barbacoa and even nopalitos.
Authentic and flavorful.
Here's how you do it - go to the restaurant area, scope out the day's fare. Then go to the check-out cashiers and put in your order. She will then ring your order up and hand you a receipt that you then hand to the behind the counter person. Have a seat and await your yumminess. Oh if you are eating in, don't forget to grab a drink before you pay the cashier so that can be added.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Christina V.Carrollton, TX75020Oct 1, 2019
I bought ranchero steaks from here and they were horrible. They were already seasoned and marinated. I go home to cook it and I was so disappointed. The meat tasted old and had a really bad smell. I'm not sure what kind of seasoning they use but it was not good. They were on sale for $4 a pound. I can't believe they charge that much for under quality meat. I also bought some chorizo and it was extremely fatty. It had chunks of pork fat in it. I will not be going back.

Amazing food! I eat and shop here on a regular basis. They have a robust grocery inventory which is also used by their in house taqueria.
