3.5 but rounded up.
Nice little place with good Mexican cuisine.
Came here after driving 9 hours from Jax. Was close to the hotel I'm staying at. Got seated after waiting a couple of minutes. Got the usual chips n salsa right after sitting down. Chips were warm and the salsa was decent.
Ordered the Combo Dinner which comes with Fried Burrito & Enchilada topped with queso, served with rice & beans. Order came out fairly quick, the fried burrito had a nice crunch on the first 2-3 bites but got soft under the queso pretty quick, meat filling tasted okay. Same on the enchilada. Rice & beans tasted okay too, nothing special. I do have to mention that the serving portion was pretty good size.
Service was average, not bad but not great.
Would come back again if I'm craving Mexican food while in Demopolis.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jokeya A.Demopolis, AL271849Aug 21, 2020
Love it!!! They do my food correctly every time. Never had any problems with them. I try and get some every chance I get! Also, they added authentic Mexican tacos to their menu and they are AMAZING!!!! A must have!! Gave them 4 stars because they can get a bit expensive and they are closed partway thru the day during the weekdays.

Came by on Saturday at lunch. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait. They seated us right away. Rachel got the Buffalo Chicken salad and I got the Fajitas Nachos. Fresh and tasty. Rachel also got some fried ice cream for desert.

Jun 18, 2016Previous reviewFood was very good. Staff was friendly but did not pay attention to us. My wife finally had to get up and bring them our chip basket. I had unsweetened tea and they never returned to refill the glass. It is usually better than this.

Started bad when they seated me next to the nasty bathrooms and never recovered. The chicken chimichanga was the highlight. The beef and shrimp were awful. I couldn't recommend this place.

Authentic Mexican. Steak Fajitas was great. Meat was high quality, loaded with flavorful peppers and onions. Full load of terrific sides and garnishments. Good chips and salsa.

It's called La Acienda now, but that's the only thing that's changed. Food is still as great as it always was, maybe even better now that they have draft beer. Best Mexican fried rice I've ever had.

Definitely a good place to eat! I am from Texas, so I am obsessed with Mexican food! This place was pretty good.
I got the chicken nachos, which were excellent! My boyfriend got the enchiladas, and he said they were pretty good as well.
The margaritas were AMAZING! You won't be able to drink more than two!
Great service as well. Can't beat good service!
They definitely deserve 5 stars!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cleophus S.Mobile, AL04Apr 2, 2016
Went during happy hour. Margaritas were top notch but waiter misquoted price three times. Menu price $13.50 and quoted happy hour price $7.50. In the end were actually charged $13.00, only 50 cents off per drink. Guacamole dip was just ok.
