About the Business
Our speakeasy style space on Main Street was created from the bones of the original hardware store in the historic early 1900’s Mohn Building. Original tin on the 16 foot ceilings and resurfaced original vertical grain fir floors bring you back to the past. Our bar has just shy of 500 unique spirits(493 and counting) on the wall and our master mixologists serve fantastic bespoke craft cocktails. Our wonderful chef creates amazing dishes which are served by an incredibly knowledgeable staff. Perfect for an evening out and great spot for an intimate date night.

Great craft bar. Huge selection ton. Surprisingly great food! They can concoct virtually any drink. The pisco sours were Peruvian grade good.
The vibe of the place is very hipster chillax. Service was 5 star. Great recommendations too.
Parking was easy. Definitely a craft bar lover's destination joint.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 2443121444Jun 1, 2024
I am currently enjoying a delicious pork chop entree with a side of mashed potatoes and a small plate of gem lettuce from Kro Bar for my late dinner tonight. I called in a to-go order earlier tonight. This food is outstanding.
The pork chop is huge, and it has a nice crispy, salty outside with some lean parts and some fatty parts on the inside. I'm not a huge fan of the fatty parts, but my portion is more than enough without eating those. I can taste the honey in the pork chop, but I cannot really taste the garlic (the pork chop is honey-garlic glazed), but then again I like to eat enough garlic with my meals for about 7 people. Ha.
The gem lettuce is very crisp and fresh. The dressing that came with it is an excellent compliment to it flavor-wise.
Service was friendly. The ambience at Kro Bar is awesome and unique, but I got there far too late tonight for me to stay there and eat in.
I've been spending most of today (and much of last week as well) cleaning and organizing my garage, and this delicious late dinner from Kro Bar tonight is a wonderful reward for all of my hard work.
My partner and I are playing a quick game of Trivial Pursuit while I am eating this dinner. I'm terrible at Trivia so he is feeling good about himself. Ha. He already ate dinner earlier tonight, so he didn't want anything from Kro Bar.
I got some amazing fingerling potatoes from Kro Bar a year or two ago on a different take out order. I didn't write a review back then, but I still remember how tasty those potatoes were. The side of mashed potatoes that I am eating with my dinner tonight are very good, but those fingerling potatoes from Kro Bar were amazing! I also got scallops back then as well, which were good too.
Very happy with my late dinner tonight. Back to work on the garage tomorrow!

What a perfect little spot to get some great food and incredibly creative cocktails. The service was phenomenal too from the minute we walked in the door. The hostess Anna was so fun, the server and bartender, all fantastic.
Highly recommend the charcuterie, the tomatoes on that thing were straight from the gods, and the meat and cheese selection blended so well.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16177180Aug 24, 2024
I was only there maybe 45 minibus everything was fantastic and can't wait to go back again soon! This place has been on my radar for a long time now. Finally made it in last night. We were just grabbing one drink and a couple bites prior to heading to woodinville for a concert. Everyone we interacted with was SUPER friendly. I can't say this is the norm these days. We each had a cocktail that was fantastic. Shared burrata and sausage roll. Both were excellent.

Love the decor, the ambiance & best of all the food. I got the buratta which was very different from other buratta I've had before but still exceptional. My cocktail was really good too. And at the point they finally brought out my Gnochi I thought they had forgotten it. I was pretty much full at that point anyway so I took most of it home.
Parking is hard to get in this neighborhood so you'll probably have to park a few blocks away. The bar itself is pretty small so youll want to make a reservation even if you're just coming for drinks.
And make sure to check out the mouthwash dispenser in the washroom (or just check out the video I posted), it's super cute!

Genuinely can't believe I've never been here before! This place is dark and moody with a fun crow aesthetic, representative of Bothell. I thought the interior was so fun and couldn't believe we have something so trendy and cool on the Eastside. I went on a Tuesday night and the place was poppin, so I definitely recommend making a reservation.
My first drink came with a smoke bubble on top, which I loved! The drinks are so creative and you can tell that the bartender is an expert at pairing flavors and making unique drinks.
Our waitress was friendly and super helpful in breaking down the drink flavor profiles and helping us find something we'd love.
I will be back here asap!

What a hidden gem in Bothell! Came here for drinks and bites with some girlfriends and we had a great time.
From the outside it's a bit hidden/incognito but once you get in it has a very unique vibe.
Our server was fantastic and had great recommendations and was so friendly.
We ordered a round of cocktails to start and oysters to share. The oysters come with their own sauce ( a cucumber mignonette), but she also brought us a hot sauce dropper and a spritzer bottle of peaty scotch spray which was super interesting to accompany the oysters.
My first cocktail came with a big smoke bubble that she made table side. Everyone loved their cocktails, with the exception of the Fortune and Glory which my friend found to be a bit syrupy.
The pastas were also quite good. The gnocchi is delicious and was a unique and hearty flavor combo. The risotto is yummy as well although a bit on the salty side.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 13, 2024
A tiny little spot in Bothell that gives you a combination of speakeasy and New York cocktail bar. It is very small and most often requires a reservation to get in. Going inside feels like walking into an old library or theatre, staff handing receipts to you in old editions of books and a black and white film playing on the back wall above the bar.
They have an extensive cocktail menu, a dramatic way of plating the food and presenting the drinks.
The menu is very brief and offers a few appetizers, three entrees, two desserts, and a specialty menu.
Prices are above average.
For me the food was exceptional and had a great depth of flavor and rustic notes with sweet and savory combinations. The only thing that was a miss for me was the cook on the beans and duck.
The other thing is the service can be quite slow here. So be prepared to have a longer dining experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2 - Nov 10, 2023Updated review
I still love this place but im starting to get a bit disenchanted. Prices are high for something that sounds fancier than it is.
If you get nothing else out of my reviews for Kro bar, just remember to order gnocchi!!
Shishito peppers were pretty good. Although some were extra spicy, which is strange because as far as I know they are not normally spicy. Charcuterie boards was mostly ham and one slab of cheese. The delicious red onion jelly and some pickled veggies was the tiniest amount. And the toast was quite burnt. Disappointed this time.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Jun 11, 2023Previous reviewSecond visit to kro bar was just as good as the first! We happened to even sit at the same spot at the bar. Reservations still needed. Cameron is super fun and entertaining. And he makes great drinks customized to what you want.
Gnocchi is still my favorite dish here. They just melt in your mouth and the flavors are spot on. I enjoyed the meatballs, very flavorful. The dessert was lacking to be honest. I was happy to see that they no longer have vegan creme brûlée on the menu. We ordered some chocolate dessert. It had many parts to it which tasted good on their own but they just didn't mesh well together. The olive oil cake was dry, the ice cream was delicious but not enough of it and most of it was melted. The chocolate mousse was decadent and very good. Lastly the crumb was useless, just totally unnecessary.
We will be back for sure but I don't see myself trying any more of their desserts.May 30, 2022Previous reviewWhat a great place in downtown Bothell!!! By reservation only. It's a small place, great for a date night. We sat at the bar. Bartender, Cameron, was super fun and attentive. We ordered a silent cry and aqua ardens. Both were pretty strong!
The food was amaze-balls, we only tried the gnocchi but it left a strong impression. The gnocchi had amazing soft texture and the meaty sauce was very flavorful. I would come back for that again.
Ok, so we only had one disappointment but a big one! The dessert! We get crème brûlée EVERYWHERE we go. We know what makes it amazing and definitely consider ourselves snobs in this area. It looked good at first glance. As soon as I put the spoon in, it got stuck. There was no wiggle room. I tried a spoonful, tasted gritty sugar crystals right away. Flavor seemed nice/subtle but I couldn't get over the texture. It seemed overbaked. Turns out, it's Vegan, which was not specified on the menu. I believe that's an important distinction one should make. Firstly, it sets the right expectation and secondly, saying it's vegan allows vegan customers to have that option. Anyway, we will come back to see if this is fixed! - Oct 25, 2023
A very fitting name for a place in Bothell also known as Crow City. I live very close and watched them remodel on weekends and evenings for almost a year. It's been a year since they opened, but we were reluctant to try them because, although we love tapas, we felt that they were overpriced. After seeing all the rave reviews on YELP, we decided to give their Happy Hour a try.
The house red and white wines were a Bordeaux and a Sauvignon Blanc - both so-so. The Kro Burger was over salted and overcooked. Gnocchi was a huge disappointment, bland and very forgettable. I don't see us trying their dinner or tapas.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
