Great market for items that you forgot to buy before you go camping in a pinch. Also fantastic sandwiches. Great bang for your buck.

Hands down, best sandwiches in village!

Don't judge Kristi's from outside. As you walk into this casual welcoming market don't judge the small kitchen. Sandwiches kick ass! Order and dine-in or take-out. This market is also known for their game jerky. Cool market, nice staff.

Only place on hill to purchase camping supplies! Market has all to offer as a one-stop-shop. From dining to liquor, groceries and camping supplies.

Did I mention they now carry local raw organic honey in many flavors!? Ah, so darn good!!!

We stopped in for a sandwich after hiking to the Ortega Falls. This little place made me feel like I time traveled back in time! We ordered sandwiches and soup. I honestly didn't expect so many choices given the remote location. Customize your sandwich however you like from a long list of ingredients, good bread choices, great cheese choices (havarti, muenster, cheddar & more to name a few), and a long list of side choices. Or, you can opt for a cup of homemade soup as your side. The man who helped us made us feel right at home and did a beautiful job with his presentation of the food. In addition to the sandwich and soup they give you fresh fruit and a little cookie which was a pleasant surprise. Not a place to stop if you are in a hurry - just grab a beer, hang out by the wood burning stove and take a break from the fast pace of everyday life.

I have got to share with you all about this little country store !!
I really like this place.
I admit it's a little expensive but when you need something this is the place to go.
I took my two brothers here in February and they loved the place.
We bought jerky and drinks, and we are happy.
Do you need supplies, food, some drinks, this is the place.
The jerky here is Great !!
They have a Deli that is good, but not too fancy.
Parking is a bit limited and access to and from Ortega Highway is tricky, and is a problem for low clearance vehicles.
I definitely will be going back.
One thing.... The phone number doesn't seem to get through...maybe they changed it.

Stopped by here on my way to my mom's house, it was totally cool! And unexpected. I'd never been here before but the people were awesome, I think it was Becky and Daron serving but I heard the owner is super cool too. Awesome sandwiches! And we even used their bathroom, which is like unheard of in the Ortegas lol. Definitely gonna come back!

Come for the Jerky, stay for the beautiful beer garden.

A fun stop along the highway with my two younger sisters! My second time visiting from Chicago. Jerky is really good and the service is friendly. I'll be back for their hilarious shirt/bumper sticker to give to my aunt who just moved out to Lake Elisenor!!

The owner is probably the sweetest woman in this town! She welcomed me into her store as it was her home. I'm new the area and needed a place to work before a meeting. She welcomed me in and told me to consider her adorable patio and indoor seating area my new office. And the jerky is amazing!!

Stopped in for a few items and some firewood while camping across the street. The gentleman on duty was very friendly and went out of his way to help us!
