Krispy Krunchy Chicken

Chicken plus sausage = chicken jambalaya on the go !!! Not too spicy more like mild to medium but will want to drink something along to wash down the spicy if nothing else and also cause can be bit dry if not.

I ordered a 3 piece chicken and biscuits, two pieces of the chicken were overcooked, but the thigh was was pretty delicious. I don't think I'd go back again. The prices OK I'd rather pay a little bit more and have juicy fried chicken rather than dry and overcooked the biscuit however was delicious.

Finally, I got around to trying krispy krunchy chicken. It is located inside of the chevron on the corner or tustin and 4th. There is plenty of parking along the side of the shop. Employees were very friendly and helpful. We ended up getting the krunch box, with 4 tenders, wedges, a biscuit, and mac and cheese. The tenders that we got were huge! If canes sold tenders this big, it would probably be better. The tenders were pretty fresh since they were not dry at all and were pretty crispy. The tenders are lightly seasoned, which is to our preferences. The wedges are great! Crispy and fluffy, really made us miss the wedges from kfc. These wedges are not salty, which is a big plus. Never expected to get great food from a gas station but was not disappointed at all.

Went in to try. At 7pm they said they were out of chicken. (Whole pieces and i wanted to order 8 pieces and sides). I asked if they could make an order. I told the cashier I was a first time customer and was eager to try. They said no. So you are beholden to whatever it is in the gas station case and you have no idea how long it's been there. I anticipate this business failing. Have food available for purchase and if you run out and are not closing in 2 hours, make it for customers willing to pay and wait.

If businesses can't master these two basic concepts, I question their viability.

This is gas station or convince store chicken at best. Who knows how long its been under the heat lamps. Even the mashed potatoes tasted old. I probably wouldn't return

A chicken place inside a gas station! They were sold out of fried chicken all they had were the chicken tenders. Surprised by how really good the tenders were. A little spicy but very good. Definitely going back to try the fried chicken. The line was 4 deep around 330 on a Thursday afternoon. Give it a shot!

I have heard that gas stations are beginning to fry up chicken for the customers. I came across this place Krispy Krunchy Chicken in Santa Ana upon my trip to the DMV. I gave it a try. I asked the young man if they made the chicken daily and he said yes it was fresh just put it out 15 min ago on the hot pan. I asked him "DO YOU SWEAR TO GOD?", that the chicken is fresh and he raised his right hand like at the court house and said "I DO!" So I got the 12 piece for like 22 dollars. They don't do breasts, only the rest of the juicy parts! Moral of the story, YEA THE CHICKEN IS GOOD. BETTER THAN ALBERTSONS AND STATERBRO! not better than POPEYES, but it's good.

Ordered delivery. Quick time and good service from store. The chicken and biscuits are super super salty. Like I was hungry and had 1 piece because its was so salty. It burned my tongue salty. I will be bloated all day salty. Why do they out so much salt for no reason, salty. Salt is not flavor. I will not order again salty. Can't imagine who tasted this and said it was okay salty. Trying to poison you for a buck salty.

Had to try it! Got the last chicken sandwich available, and a biscuit. I asked how long this single lone sandwich had been sitting there. Was told it was less than 30 minutes.
Was horrible! The bottom bun was hard and dried out from sitting under the heat lamps for too long, the top bun was soggy and wet (from steam??) Chicken coating wasn't crunchy and rather tasteless. Clerk tried to overcharge me by $1 until I corrected her. She told me that it included tax! She wasn't very smart. I should have returned to the store and gotten something else, but was already in my car on my way out. I will give them another chance and try the actual chicken pieces or chicken tenders, as they appeared fresher. Don't get the chicken sandwich!!!!!!!
