Krawl Daddy's

Love this place! The atmosphere and the music! We were greeted when we walked in and instructed to find a seat. At the time we were the only table so the server was very attentive. He was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We had some alcoholic beverages. Bae had a beer and I tried a berry Moscow. It was really good. The food I ordered was recommended from someone on yelp. We both enjoyed our meal and the price was cheap. We will be back!!

This place gives me a Nashville type of vibe. They were playing the old country music hits while we were chilling on the patio and could have stayed all night listening. Can't wait to check out the live music at another visit. Great patio, great service and everyone was very happy with the food. The sauces and spices they use were delicious. They are located at a less busy part of main street which I like. Check them out!

Despite them being grossly understaffed (one bartender one server, and a full bar on a Friday night) the staff tried their best to help everyone. Saw a lot of disgruntled people waiting on their food. When I asked to order they had shut down their kitchen to catch up on orders. Will have to come back another time.

Live music was great! And the bar is super clean and nicely decorated.

Stopped in for lunch, it was pretty empty, nice window seating options, would totally do shrimp and grits again, service was friendly, just a skeleton crew, one at the bar working the entire room and one in the back in the kitchen.

Went in on a whim today at 12:30pm. Only 4 tables in the whole place were utilized.

Our server, Eddie "E Money", sucks hands down. He's very rude, slow, preoccupied and doesn't pay attention. First time here and will be the last. Don't waste your time. Go to Les Bon Temps for real service and superior food. Eddie all together was terrible. Don't check on your tables, doesn't say thank you or apologize and is not cut out to deal with people obviously.

We sat down and on the table is a happy hour flier with drinks and apps on it. I saw Jalapeño Hushpuppies as an appetizer. Waiter came and took drink order and have us the menus. On appetizers the hushpuppies are not listed so I asked him if they're new or something because they're not on the regular menu and he said well that's happy hour and doesn't start until 2. First, that wasn't my question. I asked if I could get hush puppies as an appetizer and he said no until 2. Well I flip the menu over and they're listed as a side item and they come with some dishes so why can I not get them? If you're already making them all day, every day (not just at happy hour) then why can't I get a side of them?

He walks off and I actually started getting irritated because he did not care to even listen to me or care to give AF.

He comes back to take our order and I asked him why can't we get the hush puppies as a side or an app as it's listed and he said well you can't get them for happy hour price until after 2. Again, that wasn't even the question I asked him. I asked him if they were new or something because they're not on the menu. He chose to be a prick wad and not even listen to what I asked. He then proceeded to tell me, yes, they're on the appetizer list of the menu. I said no, they're not. He didn't believe me and picked up then menu and said well that's weird.

Basically, he is a dick. Listen to the question I asked and not trying to answer and cut me off before you actually listened to my question. I asked him 3 times and then the face he actually argued with me by telling me they're on the menu. What kind of a server does this behavior?

Needless to say I didn't eat a bite of my food and am taking it to go and it will be nasty as I got a wrap and fries. What a very poor server and poor experience. I did eat TWO of the hush puppies and they were just okay. Not very spicy for a "jalapeño" puppy. A little on the smaller size.

I feel as I'm deserved an apology for the way I was treated and him not even having respect enough to listen or answer my question. He isn't fit to be a server. Dropped off the bill and didn't even say a word. Not even mediocre.

Dropped in on a Sunday on our way back to Northbrook from Branson. We sat at a window seat - lovely for people watching and sipping on very good bloody-marys.

There was a bartender and a waitress. They were very friendly and attentive. There were a few other customers that came and went through out our visit.

The menu was slight. I settled for a chicken sandwich that was average - it had okay flavor. My husband had cheesy shrimp grits - they were well done.

I nice little place to hang with friends while enjoying a drink.

Great service. Had the Krawl Daddy's tails with the Krawl Daddy's sauce and it was Great the sauce wasn't to spicy and the tails were hot and not over cooked at all.
My husband had got the jalapeño hush puppies and was happily surprised that they had nice flavor and weren't dry. Love this place

First of all, no staff worn a mask or took any measures for safety.

Now onto the food, the jambalaya was the worst we've had. It was basically tomato paste with chicken, rice and sausage mixed in. We also had the gumbo as part of the Krawl Daddy's favorites. I don't really know how to describe it. It was weird and didn't really taste like gumbo. The shrimp and grits was okay. The shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfect. The crayfish tails as an appetizer was nothing special. We ended us just eating the shrimp and Cajun fries (which were good). They didn't have etouffee even though its on the window menu (they said it was a covid casualty). I guess they don't sell enough to make it worth making.

The servers were attentive, maybe a bit too attentive. We had 3 separate people coming to check to make sure things are okay in a span of 5 min. But overall, the service was good.

We went on a Friday night, so there was live music. But I'm sorry to say that the musician was not good. She butchered several songs. It sounded more like a karaoke than a professional. Then around 8:30 pm, the restaurant was already getting rowdy. Lots of drunk people not practicing social distancing. I guess it's not really the restaurant's fault. But it definitely decreased the quality of our dining experience. But they did put a group of at least 10 people , without masks, next to our table. That was when we decided to leave.

Overall, a bad experience. Will definitely not return.

Shrimp po'boy came with only 3 shrimp... Server was nice enough to grab us 2 more after it was mentioned, but he said this was how it is typically served.

First, this is a bar and grill, so I'm reviewing food since we didn't drink. The servers and bartender were great, super friendly without being intrusive so A+ there. We ordered chicken nachos and the shrimp sampler, both of which were good but didn't wow. I expected the voodoo shrimp to be spicier but they were more sweet heat which makes me think of Asian shrimp, not cajun shrimp. For a Cajun restaurant, things were pretty bland. Didn't hate it, though, so might come back again.
