Knockout Burger

My husband and I were walking by this afternoon and took a peek into this burger joint. There was a guy standing outside and he said this was the best burgers in town. We were kind of interested so we were like " hmm, we will check it out". Little did we know that he was also the cook. He proceeded to walk in and said." Also I'm the guy making your burger". We thought it was pretty funny so we took a look at the menu and ordered two combo #5. It consists of a chicken sandwich with fries and a drink for the great price of $10.

        We took a seat and while we waited for our food the place started to fill up. He was amicable and efficient and quickly took everyone's orders while also being the only cook. Impressive right?!
Later he brought our food and I'm not exaggerating when we say these are the best chicken sandwiches we have had in a long time. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy and the fries were impeccably seasoned and crispy.

Overall I'd give this place 10/10 for customer service and excellent food. My husband and I will definitely be making this one of our go to places!!

Really good burgers, especially for the price. Taste like a good, old school backyard cooked burger. For the cost of this, i'll take a Knockout Burger all day long vs fast food.

This lil burger joint that's located in Carlsbad village is pretty good! (Good thing we were the first ones in there on a Friday around 4pm) there was only one person working. She was working at a good pace for just one person. The line does get a little long of a wait if there is only one person working but the food is so worth the wait. The burgers are delicious, you can get the combos listed or make it a specialty which is also listed on the menu. I got the bacon ranch combo. The fries are so good and not soggy, everything was well seasoned. We ate there! Loved people watching while people walked by also. So good I recommend!

Improper food handling. Watched the cook handle the buns with his hands, try to scrape off the burned part, and blow on it. We will never return.

Wow...you guys haven't cleaned the ceiling FAN in a very very long time  please clean it...thx

It's yummy but the service is so slow. Literally no one will take your order until they are actually ready to make it. I would rather put my order in and walk away and come back that wait the whole time in line.

Understaffed, other than that tasty

My review for this burger place is very limited since I only got the fries here. I was craving something salty after trying the Strawberry Shack, which I highly recommend going to. Besides only getting fries, they were perfectly crispy and they added some type of seasoning, I believe it is cajun, which tastes amazing. These fries remind me of fresh McDonald fries since they are thin and have the perfect amount of salt. I recommend trying the Knockout sauce to pair with the fries. Overall, I have high hopes for the rest of the menu and I hope I can try the burgers out soon. The fries were very delicious and unique with the seasoning.

The lady working was nice and she cooked up some mean burgers. I usually don't go for fries but the fries were delicious!

We stopped here for a bite to eat on our way back to Sacramento after visiting San Diego for 4 days. I'm not exaggerating when I say, this was the best meal of the entire trip. It was less than $35 to feed FOUR people With burgers, fries and drinks!

Delicious burgers and fries, juicy burger and hot fries!! Parking is kinda weird but worth the effort.
