Moved to Madison recently and have been looking for a nail salon that is up to par with my previous nail salon. I know Kneaded Relief is more of a Day Spa, however I was very impressed with their nail services. Tatyana was my nail tech for both the manicure and pedicure and was amazing. Her attention to detail is top notch. I've definitely found my home and Tatyana as my go to. Look forward to trying other services!

I had shellac nails done at the salon, which did not last long on my index finger nail. I called to get it fixed, but they were too busy. They would "try" to fit me in before they closed. I was told that shellac should last at least 3 weeks, it's been 10 days since I had it done. The day that I had the shellac put onto my nails, the technicians in the salon spoke negatively about another client's choice of nail color. That was unprofessional. I recommend going to a different nail salon for shellac.

Hi Tina, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the issues you faced at Kneaded Relief. Shellac manicures typically last 10-14 days depending on your individual nail health. We apologize for the inconvenience and that we weren't able to get you in for a shellac touch-up at a time that worked for your tight schedule.

Best pedis in the area, hands down, from Lynn at Kneaded Relief. She is attentive, picky to a fault and cares about me as a client. And she happens to be my bestie. But my review is honest and genuine - I would go to her even if we weren't besties.
She is in high demand naturally but if you can get on her schedule, I highly recommend her. It will definitely be well worth your wait if you have to book out a little bit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 2, 2017
Colored me surprised and shocked that I never wrote a review on KRDS.
1st, for everyone looking for a deal... this is the place. Buy the packages, get the monthly deals offered and always and I MEAN ALWAYS BUYYY THE Gift certificate offerings.
2nd, I always bought the gift certificates to gift to professors and classroom teachers and used the 1/12 to ensure I saw them monthly. Otherwise, I wouldn't have made such diligent efforts to self-care.
3rd, I like Nicole & Duke for their vision and hiring good people while actually being honorable. How so? Yo!! I started with them on S. Park and it wasn't the ohhh lalala place yet the service was beyond reproach.
4th, They find some of the best and most attentive therapists. I never got a manicure in the new Fitchburg place but I definitely found my trademark OPI Chicago Toast color via them while on S. Park and
5th, they listen to their clientele. I haven't made it back while in town but I hated those benches for pedicures. Looked online to book my upcoming appointment and they've got the individual massage thrones for pedicures. Now I can't wait to experience it all.
6th, The locker room and robe and process and waiting room helps EVEN ME unwind and prepare to receive "kneaded relief" no pun intended but yoooo. I don't meditate and "clear my mind" but I practice yoga and can say - I'm just designed to run in auto pilot yet the therapy room even works for after the massage and facial.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: I am and have been judging and measuring places based on this location and all my experiences with the company since 2004. I must admit: Sundara in the Dells don't compare (it's like judging pineapples to apples - sounds the same but Sundara can work for overnight and when there's a snowfall + for coupling but Kneaded Relief wins for everything). I am comfortable bringing the kid here. Bioelements work but I would rather have CellexC. I did stop uying the products once I switched over to CellexC but I still came here for application even though the guys on Odana, RZ, use CellexC but they don't have the touch KRDS provides and I've come to expect.
Inbox for more details but Nicole & Duke stand with their team members if they have family issues, some have endured and survived cancer treatments, give back to the community and all the while bringing up their own family. Look! I respect that. Oh! and I would recommend Duke for working out (EXERCISE) although I didn't choose him - it was simply a matter of convenience and I'm the only everything in my family so it just couldn't work. Well, my reviews show where I go/went and exactly why.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joan B.Madison, WI06Aug 3, 2022
I decided to try a facial here - what a waste of time and money.
Since I didn't request a specific aesthetician, I was assigned someone that ended up being like it was her very first day. This spa should be ashamed for having her work on a paying client. They should have properly trained her and given much more practice time, Or at the very least let the client know and offer a lesser facial. Looking back, I should've gotten up and left (it was obvious early on) but I didn't want to be rude. The girl's hands were shaking and voice was timid as she recited a sales script in generalities and buzzwords of every product she put on my face. This to someone who has been getting facials for 30 plus years was quite annoying and adding insult to injury. I left in a hurry as soon as it was over gave her a $10 tip because I felt sorry for her. Never will I go here again for any type of service, knowing that they don't mind ripping people off.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tina Y.Eden, UT872772Jan 4, 2019
Had a very nice sisters spa day yesterday!!! My day started with a manicure with Lynn. My sis came in and sat with me (she skipped the nails part) and Lynn was very welcoming and accommodating to her. Even getting her a warm neck wrap - yes, I had one as well while enjoying my manicure. Manicure turned out beautifully.
From the manicure, I went on to the most amazing facial. Having had just a handful of facials before, I was very appreciative of the fact that Nicky was informative, but not "too chatty" and not overly pushy on product purchase. Rather just recommendation!!!
Now let's talk about Chaz, the massage therapist!!! I think the best massage I've ever had! Loved that he really took the time to listen to the one area of concern I had/have - my right shoulder. The amount of dedication to the right shoulder, working out the knots and the subsequent follow up discussion on possible home stretches and self-care was very much appreciated.
The final service was a pedicure. The actual pedicure- callous removal, nail trim, exfoliating massage, warm booties, was absolutely great. Only slight disappointment was the fact that they do not do gel/shellac on toes.
I went with the flow and got a coordinated toe color and since it's winter, I'm probably the only one who'll know my hands and feet aren't the same
I now live in Utah, but will definitely be going back when I next visit my sister in Madison!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I got a prenatal massage here. They require a note from your doctor OKing you to get a massage while pregnant. They use a "prego pillow," so you can lay on your belly for the massage. They did a great job. I was so relaxed I fell asleep a few times. One thing that did surprise me (which maybe is a pregnancy massage thing or the prego pillow would have been in the way?) was that I never flipped over to massage my front side. I got a 75 minute massage, so there was plenty of time.
The facility is very nice and clean. There is a relaxation room overlooking a prairie area where you wait for your massage. The room had complimentary tea and water and a few snacks. It's a very bright room with big windows.
Everything was very nice, and I would probably come back here; however, I do think they are overpriced considering the lack of amenities. I purposely sought out a spa and was willing to pay more to get my massage at a spa to enjoy the relaxing amenities most spas provide; however, since they don't really have amenities, I could have spent less money for a similar experience at a massage therapist and gotten the same experience or chosen a different spa in town to enjoy the amenities.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Kelly-
Thanks for taking the time to review our spa. I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your pregnancy massage. I know how much those are needed! I did review your notes and it looks like Morgan may not have had you flip over because of the areas you needed work on and it's sometimes easier to release the muscles that way. For future, if you prefer to flip over, please just let your therapist know.
As far as the amenities you were looking for, I would love to hear more feedback from you on what we missed. We are always looking for ways to improve.
Thanks again for your feedback and we hope to see you soon!

I setup a massage for my wife as a Valentines present week's in advance. She was very excited to go there and was planning a nice relaxing afternoon. She shows up and they tell her she has no appointment and turn her away??? I confirmed her appointment several times through texts. Eventually they admit they messed up and offer 20% off in future. Too late, day and present ruined!!

Had the most incredible facial by Mel! My husband treated me to the Rejuvenator and I was so pleased with the services, staff and left feeling ready to take on the holidays! Pretty sure I'm going to do this every year! Highly recommend Kneaded Relief!!
