My dogs have been patients of this clinic for over 4 years now. It's always been difficult to get an appointment, but I always bit my lip and dealt with it. They are the only clinic with a walk in option, and it starts at 12:30 PM.

I called ahead to get my dogs both boosters of a vaccine that they are current on, but with the mysterious dog pneumonia going around town I wanted to make sure that my dogs were well taken care of. I'm a disabled veteran and have a service dog, and my wife's dog has MVD (heart condition) and this sickness will most likely kill him if he catches it.

I showed up at 11:45am, a full 45 minutes before the walk in clinic begins. That was my choice. I walked in and notified the front office staff that I was there (the only car in the parking lot). They informed me that they had a dog in clinic that had contagious Parvo, and I requested the Dr to see my dog out in the car for their booster shots. They advised that it was perfectly fine.

At 12:30 I asked when I might be seen, and was advised that the Dr was on lunch until 1pm. At 1 PM there were 5 other cars in the parking lot now. One of the ladies waiting was there for a walk in as well, as she indicated. So I walked in at 1:10PM and asked again and was told that all 5 people there had an appointment. As a trained investigator, I can spot BS a mile away.... The other walk in lady was seen first, despite that I'd been there waiting first. Her dog walked in just fine, no visible injuries were noted.

Nobody likes being lied to. This Dr. is a great vet, don't get me wrong. But when you're severely over extended and your patients suffer as a result, then it's time to make a change..... I always liked Kings Vet, but the customer service has gone down the crapper there. And customer service can make or break a business.....

My family and my friends family have been taking our small animals to kings for over 20 years now and I can happily say none of us have ever had an issue at Kings, they've always done right by us and our fur babies all for a fair price.

Absolutely the worst veternary clinic around. All about the money ONLY. I've been going to them since 1993 when Dr. Whippe owned the clinic, but this is the last straw.

Last year I gave them documentation to copy. When I got home I discovered that kept my original documents and gave me photo copies.

Now, needing an annual follow up exam... Their first question to me? How is "Kitty"? I don't have a KITTY! . They didn't save one piece of documentation for my dog. At least I have copies.

Please do not risk the health and well-being of your beloved family pet.

Kings VET has proven their ability to look after your family does not progress any further than your check book.

This is not regarding the vets. But a representative answered the phone call. . . called regarding an inquiry. I called to inquire regarding walk in, or if it is by appointment only and as any other places there are some that has a specific time for walk ins and ask regarding as to how much is the fee for service to have the puppy checked, for a wellness check etc.
Lady was not understanding my question i guess and explained that we need to have our puppy checked for wellness as the puppy's exam certificate we got needs to be filled out by a vet after examining the puppy.
Upon answering as to how much for service , lady condescendingly said (the price) ".. and did that answer your question"
I just said thank you and that's all i wanted to ask as i feel uncomfortable asking more questions if a person is giving you attitude.

The wait take sooooo long understand there is a covid so there are limitations for people to come in but its not the first time where you have to wait for 3 hrs wait they can'teven tell u how long is the wait . What is taking long for one puppy or dog to be checked. Lady on the phone asked 4x if we have been here before which i said yes on all the times she asked.


It happened to my coworker to when she had to have her puppy check.

Price is reasonable no complains. The vets are very friendly but just the LONG WAIT

We needed an appointment right away but their schedule was full. However, they have "walk-in hours" each day. First come, first served so we were able to get in that same day after all. This is a great clinic. Not cutting edge like our vet clinic at home in Seattle, but more down to earth where the vet's experience is relied on as much as (endless) tests. This was a very sad time for us and Dr. Wehr was so helpful and caring. The fees are reasonable and we felt Dr. Wehr really understood the situation.

I highly recommend this clinic. I've gone to very expensive vet offices and both my pets and us hoomans were treated poorly. The Kings were professional from the receptionist to the Veterinarian. We had appointments the next day for a kitten and our young dog. Minimal wait time. ( much longer for appts and wait for very expensive south hill, off Regal nextdoor to McDonalds- just saying) . This Vet cares & sees the bigger picture.

I don't typically write reviews, but I want people know that the folks here are caring and polite. Worth the wait when there is one.

I've been taking my dog Romeo here for a few years.
I won't go anywhere else. Rochelle and all the ladies at the front desk are so helpful and caring. It's obvious they love animals. The Doctors are just as patient and wonderful! This place is usually always busy and it's for a reason. They are the best! :) my pup Romeo is always in good hands. I definitely recommend King's to anyone who loves their animal. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would :) thanks guys!
