CLOSED! I walked up and down the street in the rain to try to find it today...only to come across an empty storefront where yelp has this situated. Either this address is incorrect or the store is no longer in business.

I stumbled upon this boutique while browsing Broad Street one day and was immediately greeted by the owner, her mother and her adorable daughter. All were very friendly, making for a neat family-owned boutique.

Kindred Spirit goal is to "connect the mind, body, and spirit to bring about balance and shared interests that ignite the soul." The inventory spans cool handmade jewelry, scarves and other accessories, incense, hair oils and other natural body products and herbal teas. They hold natural herbal tea tastings on Saturdays and stay open late when First Fridays take place. It's a fun store for browsing and the owners are very knowledgeable about the stuff they sell. You never know what you'll find.

one of my favorite places in RVA. I frequent Kindred Spirits for unique jewelry, advice and body products. Afrocentric however, culturally centered, Kindred Spirits has a calming affect on you once you enter. The store owner is personable and remembers your name. I visit every time I am in Richmond. Great places to dine are located near this establishment so why not stop by? Family owned and great, do support them!

This place is CLOSED. I passed it three times and didnt realize until i saw the window with the faded words of the sign. They are building something else there. This was my favorite shop

This place is amazing! I heard about it from my hairdresser and I spotted it on the street one day. My first visit there I was greeted by the owner and she was so kind and helpful. I definetly dont mind supporting those who are caring and their products speaks for itself. I will continue to shop there and send others I know. This store also has unique jewelry and pieces and items I couldnt find anywhere esle ready available.

I enjoy going in the store to shop and spend time with the owners asking questions and getting answers to them. I have learned a lot from them. Come by and enjoy the tea tasting some time.

I was referred to this shop and after doing some research and finding the location, I decided to do an impromptu visit. My first impression was that it was very organized and visually inviting; the atmosphere was very spirited and I was greeted by the proprietor. I had a litany of questions about the scents, fragrances and health care products and to my surprise all of my questions were answered knowledgably and in a very courteous and professional manner. I was given samples of a couple of burning scents and their medicinal and spiritual benefits, but what I was most impressed by was the Vikter Duplaix compilation that was playing on the CD phonograph that gave the shop a throwback 1970's feel of a blended fusion of Neo Soul meets The Garden of Eden. I loved the vibe, I just wished there were some sample cd's for sale as well. It's the type of place that you will walk out feeling rejuvenated and you will most certainly find things for your house that will make it a home!

I would definitely recommend that if you are on Broad Street to pay Kindred Spirit a visit.
