This store is never open! I went once earlier this year and found a few things. However I've stopped in twice in the last three weeks and they have been closed during regular business hours. I tried calling but their VM is full.

A kids' consignment store is a great idea, perhaps even more so than a general consignment store, just because kids go through clothes and toys so quickly.
Parents know a lot of times things get worn or played with once or twice and that's it. That means recycling is a win-win.
Kid to Kid is very nice. Neatly organized, gently used stuff for the most part. Great prices obviously. You just have to really look through things to find sizes, but that's to be expected.
I have to mention they have an adorable kid-sized entrance door next to the grownup-size one. A clever idea that kids love. My daughter wouldn't leave until she'd gone through it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stacie R.Virginia Beach, VA781Jun 7, 2012
This store had a generic CLOSED sign up on the door in the middle of the day during normal business hours and will NOT answer their phone. I noticed another review that was done in in May that said the same thing. Clearly they don't want any business. I shopped here when my husband was stationed here four years ago, and absolutely loved it. I couldnt wait to go back to see what they had. HUGE LET DOWN! I can't even get in there because they are always closed.

Kid to Kid is a childrens consignment store that buys and sells childrens clothes, equipment and toys. I liked that the store was really well kept, it looked more like a regular boutique store than your run of the mill mom and pop consignment places that just have their merchandise all over the place. Everything is organized really well, keeping everything you need easy to find. They have a great toy section; a lot of their toys aren't even opened and are in their original packaging. It would be a great place to buy gifts for any occasion. Only thing is I would only suggest buying from the store and not selling. I brought in a load of stuff and I didn't get much for it. I suggest selling stuff if you're not that worried about a profit and are just interested in getting rid of stuff.

This is a good place if you want to buy stuff, but don't waste your tie trying to sell your stuff. I brought in a lot of my daughters old things in once. 7 baby dolls in good condition, and a huge box full of clothes and they only wanted to give me $5 for it. Big rip off.

The staff here is RUDE! I will never go back into this store. In attempting to consign some things, I called the day before and asked what they were taking. When I went the next day, I was informed, by a very snotty staffer, that they weren't taking clothes. It wasn't what she said, it was how rudely she said it. Also, I wasted my time driving out there when they told me the day before that they were taking clothing consignment.
However, the store was very clean and had a good variety of items. Perhaps if you buy there instead of trying to sell they won't be so rude to you. Seems to me you should be polite to consigners so you have merchandise.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - michele s.Norfolk, VA01Aug 1, 2011
The lynnhaven store is very impersonable. I tried to contact them with questions about selling and got no response. When I went to the store the girl behind the desk did not speak. When I left the store I commented to have a nice day and was once again ignored. It wasn't like the store was busy. There were 2 other people in there besides me on a Saturday afternoon. Also, the website states you can get cash for your items. Well, the sign on the door states that you will only get a store credit. Very disappointing all the way around.
