Food is delicious. Gentleman at the counter have a running joke about my initials being LL..(they call your food by your initials). We're both 80s kids. So I either end up being Lisa Lisa or LL Cool J. Lol

Glad I find some place to go for seafood since I moved to the area.

Fried food has a bad rap but it's so satisfying to eat ! This is a to cash only place and they serve fresh fried everything seafood .

Walk in to a rather small fishy smelling storefront that was l packed , look up their long menu displayed and order your meal .

We went easy and ordered the Louisiana crab soup and shrimp & Scallop meal with fries and coleslaw . Not very crispy yet golfers fried goodness with toast inside sweet form the natural flavor of scallops and shrimp . Side of cri kept cut fries wasn't crispy as expected but it was still good . The tartar sauce and coleslaw were top of line traditional simple No frills attached ! The soup was a tomato broth based and has no seafood smell but good crab chunks and flavor.

You have to take your meal to your car and eat which is the only challenge( if you see it that way )! We were aware and were ok with eating in our car with a lovely view of the waterfront on a warm day . Perfect setting for a non greasy fried meal .

The inside wasn't very appealing but they are not marketing their place as anything fancy so it's perfectly ok. It's self service and food is ready fast so no complaints there either .

Good fried seafood at affordable prices and fresh catch to take home is their offering . I would recommend this to anyone who is up for the adventure.

Great food, service is takeout only but polite and helpful, ambiance, well they are on a backed up to a smelly canal next to ocean but the seagulls are friendly

Great fresh seafood with amazing tartar sauce. Great Cole slaw. The sandwiches are simple and delightful. Fried clams and oysters are a classic and they do it right.

Bring cash!

Take home filets to bake, grill, or smoke how you want them. I suggest the clams on a grill until just opened and then dipped in hot garlic butter.

Excellent food and plenty of it on the platters. Wait time was short, staff was very pleasant Would prefer home made coleslaw....

Ate across the street next to Raritan Bay....

PS..... watch out for the swarm of 50 seagulls swooping down trying to steal your food ...

I have been going to Keyport Fishery since the mid-60s. And my Dad went there an entire generation before. It is so good, words can't describe.
This place is a Jersey gem, a kind of local secret, it is so good. When you try to describe how good it is, it is hard, because folks will think you are exaggerating. I have eaten fish in some very fancy restaurants. Keyport Fishery is not only as good, not only better, but is simply the best fish I have ever had.

The scallops are a must. You can start with the combo platter.

Just go. Just try one scallop. You will be hooked...for life!

Oh, it is all take-out. Do what the locals do. We park in the parking lot across the street and eat the treasure, sitting right on the bay!

This place has been there since 1930 or something. There is a reason...

We stopped here for lunch ..... WOW!!..... delicious!!! We ordered 2 platters ... 2 orders of coleslaw to bring home... and shrimp cocktail to bring home.... Fried shrimp ... fried scallops .... Amazing.... It was a little cold out we ate In the car ..... Romantic after 35 years ha.... We will be back .... Soooo Good We wish we didn't live 45 minutes away.

Great food with nice size portions. Everyone is always very friendly! The prices cant be beat. Classic small town fishing village. Make this a stop on your way to the Shore.
