Key West VA Outpatient Clinic

Disclaimer: There exists potential conflict of interest in providing an unbiased review due to my employment, but I feel it is minimal as I will have only worked here for 1 week for inspection.

The clinic here is well kept and big enough to provide great service to the veterans, active duty and dependents of the lower keys. It provides pharmacy, lab, radiology, medical and dental services as well as a place to park for those associated with the military and not on island time year round (albeit far from the Southermost point entertainment).

It is a combination of the VA health clinic and the branch health clinic of Naval Hospital Jacksonville. The two exist together and work together to provide service to both sets of patients (i.e. here, VA patients can have their prescriptions filled at the branch health clinic pharmacy on site).

The mini base it sits on is well kept, too, and conveniently located right on the bike trail that circles the perimeter of Key West. This makes it easy for the fitness inclined to bike to work from the base housing.

All in all I am pleased with the experience at BHC/VA Clinic Key West.

This beautiful Clinic is one of the best in the Nation. Immaculate facilities, excellent medical and administrative staff and a beautiful location. A real credit to the U. S. Navy. If you are a veteran visiting or living in Key West, don't fail to take advantage of this sterling resource.

Came down here for a physical for a job with the Navy. Was very impressed with the facilities no wait times, nice and clean. Wish I stayed down here in key west to take advantage of this place.
