Q:
Is there handicap parking?
A:
It's simple street parking, first come first serve! The earlier the better and you'll have front row center!

Are leashed dogs allowed?
A:
The park is the size of a postage stamp right next to the curb. It's just an observation parklet with benches. Leashed dogs are everywhere in seattle so taking your pet will not be out of the ordinary.

Check out the good views of Seattle from this park that's always got photographers and other influencers. It seems to be the best spot to see the city skyline including the Space Needle. Kerry Park can get crazy busy at times. Always seems like there's some event going on here. This is a popular place for things like wedding photos and that kind of stuff other people pretend to care about it seems.
A kind of hard place to get to with a lot of walking up stairs and crap. It's located on Queen Anne Hill. This is considered the best place to get views of the city skyline. Also you can see the natural beauty. This offers good looks at Elliott Bay and Mount Rainier. All this here and the park is only an acre. Before getting to it there's a playground. The stairs lead up to a platform with a few benches where you can look out and sit. A sculpture by Doris Totten Chase is at the center. Changing Form is a simple looking but classic structure. An interesting history. It was donated by lumber magnate Albert S. Kerry and his wife Katherine. They lived close to it and thought everyone should get to enjoy the views. For sure a lot of people have seen these even if it wasn't from here. This is a popular spot for television shows and newscasts to film openings.
Got to go and check out the city. It's located on West Highland Drive between 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Avenue West on a big ass hill. The climb up is the worst thing about it but it's worth it so whatever.

Skip the Space Needle and come to Kerry Park!! Or both..but tbh I liked my experience better at this park and the view a lot more than at the Space Needle. The pictures and videos speak for themselves :')
The park is so beautiful, it's not big per se, actually more of a small scenic stop, but offered so much beauty! My friends and I stopped for to-go coffee before coming here and spent quality time sitting on the ledge and admiring Seattle. This part of town is very elevated allowing for the skyline view.
It had rained that morning and by the time we got there the sun had come out and we even got to see a rainbow!! Such a lovely experience. ¨Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 29, 2024
If there's one thing I would recommend to someone who is visiting Seattle for the first time, I would highly recommend Kerry Park. It is a must, IMO.
Kerry Park is a small neighborhood park with the best panoramic view of Downtown Seattle and the iconic Space Needle. You get a great vantage point of the city and its surrounding. It's quite peaceful just staring at the scenic view.
Parking is available along the street for free. Just be respectful of the neighbors, who allow visitors to check out this spot for free. There are a couple benches to sit on.

Great views of the city and skyline! Small grassy area with benches to sit and enjoy the view. Mostly a viewpoint though if you're looking for larger green spaces. Also very popular and crowded year round if it's not raining. Would definitely recommend though!

I'm not a big sightseer but friends brought me up to Kerry park to view the city lights and a view of the space needle.
It was a nice view and with a very calm evening, I guess it was worth the trip. To top it off, a view of a partial autumn moon was also clearly in the sky.

This park has such a beautiful view of the city, Mount Rainier covered in snow, and the Space Needle. The view was spectacular, and the best thing was "it's free!"
There's a cool sculpture where you could climb on--a great photo op!
On the side of the park is a path that takes you to a mini playground for the kids.
We enjoyed the view and took some nice photos. Definitely check out this park!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jun 19, 2024
you can definitely count on Kerry Park if you want an overview of Seattle and of course the City Skyline.
It was my first stop when I landed in Seattle. It is a beautiful small park and there are parings available on the street.
the weather was windy and gloomy when I visited but I still loved it. I would consider coming back in the summer time.

The view speaks for itself! I can only imagine what it looks like at night when the skies are clear. I was passing through and took a moment to soak up the sun and enjoyed the view on a lovely sunny day. I recommend adding this to your list of places to visit while in Seattle!

This is the location to go if you need a photo of you in front of the Seattle skyline with the Sky Needle in the shot. Took my mom and aunties up here to take some shots and it was really endearing to see those weak, elderly ladies smile and joke as they took photos with each other, hugging and laughing as they posed near the statue and in front of the view. It's a pretty good place for a quick walk if your puppy needs to relieve itself (please be responsible and pick up after your pooch) and there's always a couple of spots freeing up just as you pull up for easy parking and a quick photo.
