The Kentucky Museum, on WKU's campus, tells the stories of South Central Kentucky's history, arts, and culture. From our signature quilt and textile collection to archaeology, arts, and history, we tell the stories of our diverse community. Permanent exhibits include the life of local celebrity, Duncan Hines; a look at the Civil War in a border state; a decorative arts gallery ranging from an Egyptian sarcophagus to 1970s macramé; plus a gallery of regional quilts. Changing galleries display a variety of themes, with community exhibitions and university-class designed and installed exhibitions.

Excellent collection of Kentucky history. Enjoyed a guided tour of the museum, including a log cabin on the grounds. Don't miss this on a visit to Bowling Green,Ky.

This museum is so nice. They have a quilt display, a large area of antique and vintage furniture, period clothes and much more. There is no admission fee. It was delightful.

This museum is just marvelous and they have some many wonderful exhibits. If you like history, especially Kentucky history, you'll love this museum. There is a wealth of information about Duncan Hines and what he contributed. They have many artifacts to view when you visit. If you visit Bowling Green this is a must see.

Another free museum for those who like to find lots of things to do without paying a whole lot of money. A lot of exhibits, three floors in this museum. The staff was amazing and greeted us as soon as we entered the building. If you're visiting bowling green and are interested in some history, visit this museum.
