My bestie and I met for brunch before heading to the Dorthy Chandler to see Otello. I parked at the music center and paid $15 which they take cash or card. Parking is a little tricky. Â I would suggest to write down the floor, number and pole color because when you walk back, the parking lot looks the same except for the color.
We arrived when it opened. The server greeted and seated us. I noticed they redesigned the place with new colors and design. It was a nice upgrade.
It's seems that everyone eating were also attending the Opera.
There's not a large selection for brunch but they do offer mimosas all you can drink in 3hrs. The menu had traditional breakfast type food but we orders soup and I had Brussels sprouts and my bestie order beet salad. The winner was the truffle fries. They were crispy with a lot of truffle flavor.
It came with dripping sauce which was also delicious. Overall a good experience. - Diane G.San Dimas, CA661995205/21/2023
I loved our dinner here. Everything was perfect. I had the Spring Vegtable Linguine $32.0. The server called it the vegan pasta which was perfect for me. My friend had chicken and tomato soup which he really liked. He ordered bread for the table. The women at the table next to us asked what we ordered it looked so good.
The resturant is close to the parking lot where we parked for the show. We let the waiter know we were going to see a show and we were served rather quickly for a nice resturant. The vibe and decor were classy. Some people dress up for these shows. You will feel just as comfortable in sneakers, jeans, and a polo or shirt here. Easy access up to the Music Center courtyard and buildings. - 53180912095/14/2023
Kendall's Brasserie has always been hit or miss for me. Â It's really only one of two proper spots on the Music Center campus, which is worth going to. I've been back several times, post-pandemic. Â On this particular visit, the pre-show crowd was about 50% capacity and we were the only couple sitting at the bar. Â The food came out in good time, and it was all excellent. Â
We ordered a Salad and two starters to share.  The Beet Salad is fantastic (spring greens mix, roasted beets, candied walnuts, basil oil and buttermilk dressing).  The Tuna Tartare is also very good, but it was the Cajun Shrimp Starter that stole the show.  Black Tiger Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, Peppers, Onions, Cajun Tomato Sauce, Lemon and Baguettes.  This dish is a meal by itself, and it has some good spicy heat on it.  (I LOVE spicy, but  they should make mention of it in the menu).  The Cajun Shrimp is an excellent (spicy) dish!  The service was friendly, and Eden behind the bar is awesome!!  A very good performance at Kendall's Brasserie. - 31203526/28/2023
Obviously for theatre goers Kendall's has the convenience factor. Being located within the Ahmanson  Dorothy Chandler and Mark Taper Forum site.  Atmosphere is relaxed and casual.
Food could have been a tad bit better but maybe was an off night. - 321661726/10/2023
Overpriced and overrated. Nothing was spectacular expect the decor inside the restaurant. Their sister restaurant, asterid, is definitely worth it so i was expecting this to be similar. Very unimpressive. Staff was whatever, not great but also not terrible- they seemed bored, it was 1pm on a sunny Sunday and there were more people working than eating. Definitely need to revamp the menu.

I wish I'd reviewed Kendall's when they were really good, I feel partially responsible somehow for the lackluster food they're serving now. Everything we ordered was bland, the only thing that got them to 2 stars was my cocktail was decent. The service was terrible, at one point our server asked if everything was to our liking when we had no food in front of us after waiting 25 min AND he'd forgotten to put in our drink order! I fear this place won't be around much longer...

Perfect place to stop by for bites before shows/performances at the music center. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our entire meal. They know guests are on a time crunch before shows, so they are prompt with taking care of our orders.
We had the
-cheese and meat charcuterie
-french onion soup
-ahi poke
-tomato and basil clams.
All were very good and came with generous portions! My favorite was the french onion soup - not too strong but still very flavorful! Tomato and basil clams were also very delicious.
They had some good cocktails and wine selection, which paired well w our food.
Interior is spacious and nice. It was a full house that day but entire staff were all very friendly and we felt taken care of. Definitely coming back next time :) - 81123131/21/2023
Perfect dinner spot when attending a show/concert at the Disney Concert Hall or the Center Theatre Group (Ahmanson, Taper, Douglas). Here are some
helpful info and tips:
1. Parking - underground parking at CTG or LADWP building (111 N. Hope Street) across CTG
2. Service - good customer experience
3. Reservations - on Open Table and recommended if you don't want to feel rushed if attending a show/concert
3. Food - French food so can be on the "heavy"'side so we chose the following:
Mussels with side of fries (moules-frites) - family favorite and we order if on menu. Mussels are fresh and fries cooked to perfection. Shareable and can be an appetizer or a meal in itself
French onion soup - delicious and cheese was so gooey
Beet Salad - fresh and yummy. Came with yellow and red beets, carmelized almonds, goat cheese and substantial serving
Note: I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years . I am thankful it survived the pandemic for we need classic places like this that delivers good food and service.
My hubby and I had our doubts when I saw other reviews but I wanted to give it a chance and glad we did for we enjoyed our pre-concert dinner! - 1250416247712/4/2022
I was very disappointed in this place because my burger was pink on the inside and tasteless. Not to mention burned on the bottom. Â
Bar tender  swapped it out for a Caesar salad but I was very disappointed. Even my baked cauliflower tasted burnt.
It was so dry I had to mix it in with my Caesar salad. Very unappealing and disappointing. - 28744910244/22/2023
Stopped for a bite before a show. Great service, loved the ambiance. Liked my food and I can't complain with bubbles. Appreciated how fast they came out with our food.
