Karnaphuli Restaurant

I got the vegetarian thali for takeaway and was quite pleased with most of my items: paneer korma, chana masala, saag, dal, raita, pilau rice and vegetable naan. The chana masala, saag and dal in particular were delicious and not very spicy at all, which was perfect for my admittingly lame taste buds. The veggies were tender and the sauces weren't overtly oily which was especially pleasing as that's unusual in the Indian food I have gotten here. The downsides though were the raita which just tasted and smelled off to me, so I tossed it, and the mediocre vegetable naan. But for £10.40 I had dinner for two days so I consider that a steal. If in the area I would consider going here again.

Very nice restaurant in a road full of very good restaurants.
This one stands out due to the quality of the food and service.
It gets very busy and you need to book.
Food has a slight shift away from your usual run of the mill Indian Restaurants and it makes it all the more special.
Food is well prepared and the staff really look after you.
Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.
