Karate Masters

An amazing Karate school! Karate has always interested me but I hadn't found a place that full filled my expectations like Karate Masters did. Besides just teaching the technique movements we are always taught their correct pronunciation, and their purpose. It is just a fascinating school and one definitely gets that exercise in for the ones that get bored of the gym. Go see it for yourself!

This is by far the best Family Karate studio in Texas. The Master instructor has been in Marshal Arts for at least 38 years and practices the philosophies as well as the physical aspect of the art form. You will learn more then self defence. Here you will learn the tradtional history and the Korean names of the Art of Tang Soo Do.

A warm, safe learning environment for all ages and levels. Every instructor is highly qualified and they all possess such patience and passion for what they do. My husband, daughters and I attend. I started practicing Tang Soo Do while working in Washington DC. When I moved back to Houston, the Karate Masters family welcomed me into their studio with open arms. Not only was I able to continue my training from where I left off, but truly take it to the next level. They have a flexible class schedule, so I'm always able to make classes despite work/travel. They also have a rotating staff of highly trained instructors, so every class is different and I'm always learning something new. The beginners, intermediates, and advanced students have separate AND combined classes for those inclined either way. They offer a wide variety of class types, with seasonal offerings, events (including tournaments), and more. As a working adult who wants to learn the art of self-defense, I can't praise this place enough. Tang Soo!

If you are looking for a great family atmosphere where you and your kids will learn karate, this is the place. Very family oriented and activities throughout the year, i.e., Trunk or Treat at Halloween, end-of-summer pool party, self-defense classes, numerous summer camps with more than just karate, etc. They care about their students and have a sincere interest in seeing them succeed. They also run a special where you can try it (a month, I believe) and get a uniform, all for not much more than the uniform itself costs! And they are also the regional directors for several states as well so they know their stuff! You really can't go wrong!
