Another perfect visit to Dr Kavanaugh's office. My first since Covid. Safe practices in place(and I am picky). Great technicians and dentist. Everyone is friendly and extremely competent.

Absolutely horrible business practice. I called and asked if they accepted my insurance, which they said they did. When I got there, the hygienist argued with me for 10minutes about getting xrays (I did not want them), and finally had me sign a waiver for not getting them. Then, I get a bill in the mail for the service! Turns out they do not accept my insurance. I offered to split the bill with them as it was a mistake on both our parts (I realize now I should have called my insurance directly -- and they should know which insurances they accept). Anyway, I rec'd a letter back in the mail (they wouldn't even call me back to tell me) stating they would NOT split the bill as it was my responsibility. Ridiculous! Horrible customer service. In this day and age of choices, I cannot believe that they would not work with me.

Very expensive! I was told when I called in to make an appointment that all of my initial visit was paid by my insurance including x rays and cleaning. When I was finished I made an appointment for several cavities and a crown. Several days later I received a bill for over $115 for the initial cleaning/xrays. I cancelled all of my other dental work as I have never had this happen with any other dentist.
