About the Business
Our business specialty has been our famous Hawaiiana fruit salad, not to mention our fresh made to order juices and milk shakes These recipes have been used since 1985, 33 years ago.! For our Mexican food lovers we have the famous Torta Cubana created with 4 different types of meats. Surely to satisfy any appetite, we have a variety of traditional Mexican food but you be the judge. One thing Jugos Acapulco has always strived to do best is our customer service and providing the best quality of ingredients when preparing our food/drinks.

Are you ready? Here is your wordy Yelpie friend (not word salad) starting a review with anecdotes and background tidbits before the story. For years I went to this young Mexican lady, owner of a juicery called Jugo Tropical at the corner of harbor st and MacFadden but the past 6 years I did not go there and a few weeks ago, I was shocked it became a fast food joint. I was in a funk as my 4 navel orange trees ran out of oranges and I live on fresh OJ daily, I searched Yelp and found Jugo Acapulco in Santa Ana. Since I was rear ended by a migrant with no car insurance 15 years ago, I no longer go to SA but decided to try this new restaurant.
Santa Ana is now practically Nuevo Mexico, I walked in Jugo Acapulco and a few people looked at me, a lady was literally giggling, so I giggled back, I know why she giggled, I looked different and like "where do you come from?" well, I come from Venus!, I said Hola then proceeded to the counter to order, the senorita did not speak English I liked that as it meant the food would be authentic, I did not have a chance to tell her I could order in Spanish, she called a guy who spoke English.
They had all kinds of fruits just like in Mexico, not like Jamba juice or all the other juicery stores, all they had were frozen juices, I hate frozen OJ. I love apple juice fresh from apple, I ordered a combo of Papaya, OJ, pineapple and another OJ, apple, pineapple, each big glass was only $10.99. They were so good, so fresh, it's so good for the skin, better than any facial cream. The 1st time I ordered menudo, they no longer have pozole, menudo was too strong for me but the taste was OK. Today I ordered Caldo Albondigas, it was meatballs soup but it had a delicious smoke flavor like the chipotle flavor, it was a huge order for $15.99, a meal in itself.
I might try other items such as burritos but I would normally stick to the juices. I wish it were located in Westminster as Santa Ana is like the wild west, it is a matter of time I might get rear ended again, they run red light and have no driver license and no insurance, the last time I paid $4,000 to repair the trunk as I did not know it till a year later, the damage was hidden, my Mercedes was new and absorbed all the force of the accident, outside showed no damage but I could have gotten injured so if I disregard the danger, this is a 5 stars juicery, come here at your own risk!Helpful 10Thanks 2Love this 9Oh no 0 - 85258Nov 20, 2024
Their albondigas soup was perfect for the windy/cold day I went here to check it out! My friend got a juice and that was great too. The inside has seating, and theirs plenty of parking in the lot. The workers are very friendly, mostly Spanish speaking restaurant but welcoming. Will definitely be back!

I was thirsty so came for aguas frescas, but it turns out Jugos Acapulco offers a pretty extensive menu of things both savory and sweet. Pretty much everyone inside was speaking Spanish, though I imagine you could get by with English if need be.
Seeing all the soups for sale, I couldn't resist and ordered a caldo de albóndigas (meatball soup). The soup was large and a bit spicy, different than the clear broths I am used to for this soup, but it was still tasty. The accompanying flour tortilla was just okay, I should have chosen corn tortillas.
For drinks, we ordered a champurrado and licuado de mamey. I originally thought it was an agua de mamey but came as a creamy smoothie/milkshake licuado instead. Drinks were good.
Prices were moderate but portions generous. Interior was clean and parking was easy in the large lot.
The place was pretty popular in the middle of the afternoon, so I guess Jugos Acapulco does well!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Maryah A.Santa Ana, CA021Oct 6, 2024
First off I would like to say that the customer service is always excellent, best store I come too way too often. I asked what was the newest item on the menu and they recommended the keto smoothie, it includes avocado, spinach, banana and some other ingredients I don't quite remember. It was an excellent choice definitely an after run drink, and the vibe is amazing!

The food in this place it's always delicious. I give them only three stars cause io the portions. I ordered Costillas en salsa verde. Delicious. But for the price it's not right. It looks like a kid's portion. I never had any complaints for this location until now. Not sure if I'll go back there.
