      My father recently passed away and the team at John Hancock was professional, kind and handled the settlement of his affairs swiftly. They communicated well and took a huge burden off of my back.

      When it comes to financial services or intangibles in general, people typically only leave reviews when they have a problem and I think thats a shame. If you are considering John Hancock, take the plunge! You won't regret it.

      Tried to transfer out my IRA to Robinhood and they refuse to give me my account number when I called, SHADY! They said I will need to pay for transfer fee when I know there should not be one.
      Then I found the account number hidden in the file name of my statement.
      SHADY COMPANY

      They are not taking care of an insurance policy claim and dragging their feet for over 2 months. "The check is in the mail" I keep hearing and it is all a lie.
      Told different things by different reps. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL PLEASE. Pathetic and self serving.

      This company is dishonest, unorganized, and is an absolute disaster and should not be managing people's finances. I highly DO NOT recommend them to anyone. Run for the hills. I've been trying to roll over my 401k for four months and they are purposefully giving me the run around. Do not trust them with anything.

      I have been trying to transfer my 401K funds for months now. They are terribly inefficient and disorganized. It is a continuous run around and my retirement fund just sits in limbo. I sincerely hope I do not have to deal with John Hancock ever again for retirement investments.

      Terrible. I had to distribute my funds when I left my first job. However, their process is outdated and ridiculous. Everything is done by physical check mailing, faxing, etc. I was finalizing the process when I saw I had to get my distribution NOTARIZED before I could move it to my new plan, so I gave up and let the account sit for a couple years. After another job change I decided it was time to get it done. I had a couple errors on my end on the forms so I had to redo the entire form and fax it again to get the rollover. At the end of the day, I finally got my funds moved but it was a painstaking process. My other plan through ADP was a simple form that I emailed then it was done. JH needs to get with the times.

      They are terrible. Waiting one month for over payment of loan . To be refunded
      Typical bs response..checks mailed. Then it's not

      If I could give ZERO star i 100% would!
      What a disgusting company!
      Was on the phone with 5-6 different people giving attitude because i told em I already told every single information about my self and it's getting overwhelming that I repeat my self over and over and have no answer why I received a 5$ ?!!!!! Check ??? After two months of back n fourth....THEY TAKE OUT OVER 80% of my 401K

      Disgusting!!! RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY

      The most unprofessional clueless company you could ever deal with, they actually said to me they have no supervisors in the United States of America. You speak only with the Philippines, and these employees are absolutely clueless to what they are doing. Unfortunately, I'm locked in with my 401(k) due to it being accompany 401(k), if you are an HR professional, do yourself a favor and run so fast from this company. It's my freaking money and I can't get it out.

      I hope you saved alot of $$$ by using a foreign call center to solicit proxy voting. I really like how you looked up my home phone number and call me up in the morning. These callers have foreign accents and one couldn't pronounce words correctly. Then they ask for ID info and ask to record my voice. Exactly like telemarketing scammers.

      I will decline to vote each time.
