JI Phone Repair

I just got my phone back after dropping and cracking the glass on
my 7plus iPhone. It took less than 45 min. to repair and send me
on my way. They are knowledgeable, with reasonable prices.
I highly recommend them.

I dropped my iPhone and broke the screen TWICE this year! And both the times, I got the screen fixed at JI.

The pros:
++ Great job. Phone looked as good as new. And they have a 6 month warranty if you aren't happy.
++ Fast service. It took them an hour to fix the screen.
++ No wait time. A breeze compared to the Apple Store in UTC.
++ I was charged around 90$ + tax each time. Comparably priced as other repair shops.

Thanks, yelpers. What an awesome place! The button on my iPhone that turns the phone to silent was stuck. I called them, and Montana said it would be $20-$45, depending on whether it needed new parts or could just be cleaned. They were busy today, so they could not do the repair while I waited. But it was ready within three hours, and was only $20. Definitely a great place to come for a no-hassle repair.

My daughter dropped my iPhone and shattered the screen ugh! At first I just dealt with a cracked screen but after a month it got annoying to look at. Called like 5 places and for quotes ranging from $120-$150...sigh that's like a nice pair of jeans :/ George gave me the best price $95 so I decided to come here! It took about 20 min or less and I walked away with a brand new looking Iphone! Happy customer and hopefully I won't need to return ever again ;)

PS plenty of parking and shops and a great Thai place near by to keep you occupied while you are waiting.

I took my girlfriends phone in for repair since she had work, and they fixed it in under an hour... and it was free cause apparently she got her screen fixed a short time prior at a sister location, and the screen was still under warranty, unbeknownst to me!

Phone works flawlessly now

I went in to get my Samsung 8 screen repaired the day after New Years day and it was done with great care. I was assisted by a young man named Eddie who was personable, professional and very helpful.
My boyfriend and I had called in the day before and whomever we spoke with took the time to contact the Escondido office to see if they had the part needed to repair my phone. Fortunately they did and the part was transferred the next am to SB and taken care of for me by Eddie.
I would use their services again if needed.

Ozzy fixed my cracked screen I phone X in one hour! I love this place conveniently located in Solana Beach on The 101. I have also had my I pad fixed here. Excellent service . Takes all credit cards including Am Ex!

This review is regarding JL Phone Repair in Solana Beach. Terrible service. My phone screen went blank 9 days after this shop put on a new screen and they refused to honor their warranty. Don't bother--there are shops with more integrity.

Edited to add:
I went to another store to have the screen replaced and they confirmed that the broken LCD was due to a faulty installation by JL phone repair. They showed me where the metal was dented, pressing on the microphone. So shoddy work and no integrity. The damage can be seen in the image below--on the left hand side you can see the dent where the metal was pushing into the LCD screen.
