I've heard from a bunch of people that there's hookah here but I can't seem to find anything about it online. Anyone know if there is?
A:
Hi Baylee, No, as the new owner (Feb. 1), we decided to no longer offer hookah. Cathy

Cute spot with good food and great customer service. They have indoor and tons of outdoor seating. You order online which is actually very confident. Got the Point Loma breakfast sandwich which was delish.

Went there this morning for the first time.
We sat down and hoping to have a wonderful breakfast. This place is really cute but...
The waiter pointed us to a table tent that has a QR code and directed us to use that to look at the menu and also to place our orders. My wife and I are computer savvy so at first we looked at the menu but it was confusing on how to order and select special instructions.
We asked at the front for help. Instead of the server taking our order, he showed how to add special instructions. We then noticed that there were 3 side orders of bacon and we couldn't find a way to remove 2 of them. It was so frustrating just trying to order 2 simple breakfast.
We left without eating. We won't be back and we've decided to not eat at restaurants that can't provide customer service and take a paper order. - 15314543111/12/2022
My partner and I came here on a Saturday morning on our way home from a nice getaway in SD. When I first walked up I was pleased with the exterior charm- the place looked comfortable with outdoor dining and cute foliage on the balcony.
We got seated outside right away as there weren't many people dining there. We were told to scan the QR code for ordering. This process was mostly simple, a little confusing since each person has to scan it on their own phones to order and it's unclear whether the orders will be linked or not until the last screen. There were elderly patrons at a nearby table that were struggling with this process.
At the end, you can opt to pay for your yourself or the entire table, all from your phone. This means there is really no table service and therefore I believe it should affect the tip.
We ordered a coffee and a french toast plate each. My drink came first, followed by our food, followed later by his drink. The food did not look appetizing when it arrived and I couldn't finish my plate. The french toast did not taste fresh, the eggs seemed rehydrated or something. We didn't actually hear the sounds of a typical kitchen and are fairly certain our food was microwaved.
Overall, the staff we interacted with were sweet and kind. There could be major benefits in small changes like adding sun shades to the outdoor dining area (we had to relocate inside due to sun), music throughout to improve ambiance, maybe doing away with QR ordering and leaving it for menu viewing only as an option. This restaurant could be a vibrant staple attracting people to a highly walkable street full of great independent shops. Just needs a little TLC. - 337181526492/9/2023
This is a really cute spot and the ambiance and service by far are the best part. We didn't love the food which is a shame. We came as a group of 4 on a Sunday morning. Lots of parking, no one else here we were able to sit down and order right away. They use the QR code system which wasn't ideal when you're splitting the check, we ran into some issues but got it figured out. We all ended up getting either the breakfast burrito or sandwich with one lox bagel and all were only ok. Out of all of them the breakfast sandwich was the best but a little heavy on the bread. The atmosphere of this place is so nice and they have fire pits out back. I bet it's really nice to sit out on the patio at night!

Great place for breakfast. Their harvest scramble is superb! Expresso drinks are consistently excellent. Service is friendly and courteous. The ordering system works well. I was very appreciative that during COVID they actually cared about their staff and customers.

Food was really good and reasonably priced. Â The staff is very on guard about Covid precautions. Â Which is a good thing but they were a little over the top. Â The yelled at me for picking up some napkins. Â Well I know they are short staffed so I thought I would grab my own napkins since I wasn't provided any and my sandwich was on the messy side. Â I didn't touch anything else just the top napkin I grabbed but by their tone you would think that I licked their entire countertop. Â I know people react in different ways and they could have been coworkers that were out with Covid which made them extra stressed. Â I don't know their story but they could have approached me a tad differently.
Bottom line though food is tasty and the ambiance is charming. - Josh M.Alpine, CA0512/11/2023

This place is fabulous, the food is excellent, the ambiance, the feeling is relaxed and comfortable! Cathy, the owner, baker and chef is gifted, her energy is uplifting and contagious. Amber, my server was terrific. Thank you, I will be back and send people.

The lady and I have been meaning to eat here for a while now. This Breakfeast Cafe did not disappoint. My lady ordered a Breakfeast Club sandwich. I ordered the French toast with a side of Scrambled eggs. We also split a Mocha topped with whipped cream.
(4 Star French Toast) It taste definitely more like a bread pudding toast. But it's delicious nonetheless.
(4 Star Breakfeast Club Sandwich) For starters the lady and I are not huge fans of sourdough bread. With that being said the portions of bacon balanced out the sourness of the bread.
(4 Star Mocha) Balanced, Rich and Fresh whip cream.
5 Star Staff and Service! Besides a chill coming through the front door, our experience was great! We will definitely be returning here for the Breakfeast Burrito!
