Jenna is such an amazing photographer! We have used her twice: one time for our daughter's 1 year cake smash session/ family pictures and then for our son's newborn pictures. Jenna is SO talented when dealing with children. She can get our crazy toddler to laugh for pictures when she's cranky, and she was SO patient with our newborn, not rushing the session at all. She took her time calming him, rocking him, giving us breaks to feed him, and didn't get grossed out one bit when our newborn son pooped on her 4 times during the session!

Jenna is the perfect combination of professional and fun to work with. She is also extremely efficient. She has gotten our edited pictures to us one week after our session both times! With other photographers we have used in the past, it has taken at least a month to get them back.

We have also ordered large prints from her from our sessions and they are so beautiful! The quality is something you just can't get if you are printing them yourself.

We highly recommend Jenna to anyone looking for any type of photo session you may be looking for! She truly knows how to capture love and joy in her photos, and I believe that is something that sets her apart from other photographers in the area. We will definitely be using Jenna in the future!

Love! Love! Love! Jenna is amazing!! Our pictures are amazing. She is worth every penny. She is awesome with the babies. We did a full year package from newborn to one year. Our one year session is coming up and we can't wait. Not only does she take her time with the babies she makes sure the parents are comfortable and gets the best shots. You know immediately the pictures will be what you want when you see the studio and she talks with you makes sure you get what you are looking for. She is so personable and super flexible with schedules. You can tell she cares about her business and the precious babies that come with it. I would give her 5+ stars if I could. Thank you Jenna!!!

My husband and I had our 10 YEAR wedding renewal on June 24th, and Jenna was there to capture it all. However I had planned a surprise renewal ceremony on the beach in Huntington Beach, California. My husband had no idea! Jenna was so great to work with! A few months prior to the ceremony, she came with me to the site to scout out the spot where she would hide out and take those photographs of my husband's shocked face. Jenna is amazing to work with! Even though she is a newborn/family photographer, she understands the connection between husband and wife. When the day came, she hid behind the cars, and when we walked down the stairs to meet our officiant, I could not see her at all! She hid well! Then she popped out, and started taking photos of us, and my husband's face lit up in joy. He was so surprised when he saw the officant waiting with us, and then once he saw Jenna, he was beyond shocked. (fist pump to Jenna, like we did it!!). During dinner, I also had been texting Jenna as we were running late, and she was so good at communicating with me. She was prepared for bright sun light, or low light. :)

During our ceremony, Jenna was capturing each and every moment, and in a way that I did not even know she was there. So we enjoyed our renewal without the clicking of the camera or flash. I was so happy I had Jenna there to take photographs of such a special moment in our lives. 10 years of marriage captured that day! :)

I highly recommend Jenna, as she is professional, kind, understanding, and easy going. She makes you feel so comfortable, and very natural when she takes photos of you. It was just perfect!

Jenna is the epitome of what I look for in a photographer. We have now used her not once, not twice, but three times to capture images of our family. We first met Jenna when she took newborn photos of my son Lawson in 2016. It was our first time with a newborn and newborn photography and boy did we get spoiled. She brought us in for a consultation, and everything was planned prior to birth. We opted to do in-studio photos of baby and also a lifestyle session in his nursery on the same day. I was worried that a 10-day old baby would be a disastrous client, but Jenna is an absolute baby whisperer. She calmed and loved on our little man and captured his little soul for us to cherish forever. When we went to view our images at her studio and the video she had created began to play, the tears were rolling down my face. She really understands how important these photos are to the families who seek them out and she makes sure she delivers those beautiful images in the most caring fashion. She does this all in a calm, peaceful setting with sweet treats from the best Scottsdale bakeries. The products that you receive when you order from her are also heirloom quality. We received a leather covered album with my son's name embossed on the front inside a sturdy wooden box that was similarly engraved. I have since ordered similar products from other photographers where we now live in California, and have received much less than this quality for the same price.

We used Jenna for the second time to capture my son's 7 month sitter portraits. Again, she was super professional, super on time, and the entire experience felt VIP from start to finish. She delivers high quality images and products while putting you at ease in the studio.

Our most recent session with Jenna was for my daughter's 7 month sitter portraits, and also included some larger family portraits for Christmas card purposes. Again, Jenna delivered on all fronts. My biggest pet peeve with photographers is when they take weeks to months to deliver on images or products. Jenna has never had our images to us later than a week after she takes them. This seems to be practically unheard of in the photography business. But, as a busy working mom of 2, I appreciate her timeliness and ability to stay organized and on top of her sessions.

If you are looking for a baby/family photographer, Jenna is the best in the business. We even flew back to Arizona and spent precious vacation time to sit for a portrait session with Jenna. If that doesn't tell you just how much we value her, then I don't know what will. Jenna is an amazing person who feels like a friend upon meeting her, and is an astute and professional business owner who will deliver to you timeless images of your loved ones. We cannot recommend her enough!

We have used Jenna twice to take portraits of our big extended family, which includes infants, toddlers and dogs! She is professional, and patient and really has an artistic eye. Most importantly our photos turned out great!

She was so professional and very fun to work with. As a first time mom I thought I might be uncomfortable, but Jenna was so great with my baby. I was able to relax and watch her do her job. We loved every picture!!!

We did a family shoot with Jenna at Disneyland. It was amazing! She is so friendly and fun to talk to! I was a little nervous having a stranger pal around with us at Disney...but after the first minute she put me at ease and I knew it was going to be a great day. She let us go where we wanted and dictate the shoot, while still offering her professional opinion based on experience within the park and as a photographer. The package of photos I received were wonderful- so many favorites to choose from. She not only did posed photos but candids throughout the park and on rides. I love that I have professional family pictures from my favorite place. I would hire Jenna again in a heart beat!

The pictures are amazing capturing the beauty of my family. The one with my boys has got so many compliments one can only start trying to explain. And of course your thoughtful gift for grandma when she was going back home was icing on the cake... The photo session is every bit of what I wanted ... Thank you and see you soon...

We got Jenna's contact info from our 3D ultrasound place. As it turns out, she was much more affordable than comparable places we searched for on Yelp (and her reviews are so accurate.) The BIG selling feature is that she comes to your house and brings EVERYTHING. I can't IMAGINE having to haul my baby and my c-section recovering body to a studio after being 10 days postpartum to do the photo shoot. If you are pregnant and reading this part... Trust me, it's a big deal to have everything done in the luxury of your own home! Do not consider booking with other Yelp newborn photographers where you have to go to a studio to do the pictures! Jenna was a win-win referral to begin with and were so lucky to have booked with her.

Here is our experience:

We contacted Jenna a few days after our son was born (and after a failed hospital photo shoot- done by the hospital photographer.) We were lucky enough to book a newborn session at the last moment and have his pictures taken when he was 10 days old.

Jenna got back to us right away (within hours of our inquiry), explained the process and asked us about our vision for the pictures. We were able to pay online through PayPal (which is convenient when you have a newborn to care for and you can do it right from your own bed!)

We booked the appointment and she told us what we needed to know and do before she arrived. She arrived on time and was there for hours! We are so lucky that she had the patience and special touch to get the pictures we wanted. Believe me, my newborn son wasn't cooperative (I mean, what newborn is?!). He peed everywhere, cried, woke up several times, needed to be fed... It was not easy! And there was Jenna patient through the process without the "hurry up, I have somewhere to go" attitude (which I was having the guilt and stress about it myself- and she never made me feel that way!) She is an absolute natural with babies and never led us to believe we were a burden or that she wanted to rush out of our home by "just getting the shots over with". She knew exactly how to soothe our baby into a deep sleep (more so than us-the brand new parents- in fact, we learned tips from her about white noise and how to tell when he was in a deep sleep or not.)

After the shoot was done (5.5 hours later!) she contacted me the next day about setting up a picture reveal appointment less than a week later. All of the pictures were amazing! We had a really hard time just choosing 10! After we picked the shots, she came by less than a week later and delivered the goods. We were so impressed with the quality and speed! We ended up having her design our birth announcements and they were so perfect! We got a ton of compliments on them because they were of such good quality (compared to what we would have gotten on Shutterfly).

We were so impressed by her professionalism that we booked his six month photo shoot with her. We can't wait to see how those turn out. Definitely worth it!!!

Jenna Michelle Photography was an amazing photographer for my daughter's 1st year Smash Cake birthday. We choose color and images and she came with a big bouquet of balloons and a custom made super-sized Cupcake with all the colors I choose! Not only was the style and images gorgeous, Jenna Michelle is very professional, patient, and we had so much fun with the spontaneous and unpredictable birthday girl's' 1st session . I would love to hire Jenna Michelle again to capture and create our special milestones!!
