Jays Towing

Commercial Customer.
Had a truck running from New Jersey to Port Washington for a pick up on a rainy night. My driver got lost and had to stop for directions, when he did he locked the truck for safety. When he went back to the cab he could not get either door lock to unlock with the key.
Not knowing the area I googled local tow company's and got jays towing. They responded quickly and were extremely professional. Was truly a pleasure working with them.

The tow truck driver forced open my car door, causing my car door to be severely warped and the inside door skin to be broken in many places. I paid $250 and the tow truck driver said he didn't have a receipt. I asked the tow truck operator who authorized you to tow my car. The tow truck operator said: you parked in the intersection of private driveway, so you were towed? I would like to ask the owner of this towing company to come out and explain to me. No receipt? No authorization to show the owner?

Tow truck operators are inhumane enough to open your car doors with direct violence and thousands of dollars in repairs. Be sure to check that your car isn't vandalized after being towed.

This guy impounded my car out of a lot where I was working at, my car was properly parked because I am an employee of the place where he towed my car from. The landlord called him to release my car and he refused to give me back my car without having to pay. My car was taken to an address that is a not even registered as a business because I googled it, the address on the receipt I was giving by the driver doesn't even match to a supposedly tow truck company. I will report your business to DCA.

I did not ask for no favor because I'm an employee. Furthermore there are three businesses in that location, staples, McDonald and Citibank. Yes you ended up charging me $125 but still unfair because ever employee parks there.. you are such an asshole, you shouldn't even own a business or deal with people. Very rude !

Car had to moved a short distance but Jay came quickly and was very nice.

very rude ！ Block the whole street when here's a major traffic, when we ask him to move the vehicle forward for just 1 meter he refused to do so, and laughed that us like there's no tomorrow when we couldn't make a U turn because his towing vehicle. Rude! You should train your staff how to behave not just drive around creating hate with the face of your company! Even we didn't received or try to get a service from your company before we will never do that in the future. Will never recommend your company to anyone !

Their running scams during this pandemic , towing cars out of building with out any permission. Towed my car though i asked permission from super to leave my car their. Charged me 170$ for taking my car down the block. Damaged my car as well. Spoke to owner and he cursed at me and he demanded me money if not would lock it up in the lot. I will be seeking back the money and further damages. They didnt even write a appropriate receipt. He demanded cash and said if i didnt give him cash he wouldn't give me my car. I will pursing this further because what they did was illegal.

Jay was awesome. He picked me up within an hour and took me quickly home. Showed that he cared about my car and did not want to get it damaged.

Great service! Reasonable price! He helped me tow a disabled car to the destination for repair. Easy communication, responsive and professional. Definitely would recommend Jay to friends who need the towing service!

Went through a terrible time with this towing company , will never call them ever again. They scratched my car while towing and didn't want to compensate me. Owner was rude. Beware of this towing company.
