Jasmines Beauty Salon

I live right down the street from this place and I decided to give it a try. I called last minute to see if she had any availability on a Saturday and she penciled me in within an hour! I really needed to get a cut since it had been a minute and I have a huge meeting on Monday. The place is homey and you can tell she has regulars after getting my hair done I can say that I will be one of those people. She was so gentle with my hair and I have the most sensitive scalp ever. She honestly is better with my scalp than I am and that has never happened to me in my life. My hair looks and feels amazing!

I felt like I was rushed out because her next client was there. Mary cut my hair and didn't even dry or style it, she told me to do it myself.. I had just lost a lot of hair from post partum and taking my extensions out so I wanted a confidence boost and honestly I left the salon ready to cry.

I really wanted to like this place because I live only 4 mins away but unfortunately I didn't get what I envisioned. My rating is solely for the hairstylist who did my hair as I can not rate the other women. I had Mary (Maria).
It's not a fancy salon and I was totally ok with that, all I wanted was a shampoo and flat iron because I'm having a baby tomorrow (unplanned c section) and taming all this myself wasn't an option. So anyways, I came in, the price was right at $25 for me and near by. Mary did a great job at shampooing, felt awesome. She spent some time blow drying but when it came to the flat iron she just went over it once and moved on to the next section. I've been flat ironing my hair for a long time and if you don't do it with a comb in hand and hold the hair tight you won't get a sleek look. After she was done I was pretty disappointed to see it look as though I had simply blow dryed my hair. Wasn't sleek at all and still frizzy. I didn't say anything of course, I felt bad and just wanted to pay and go. She doesn't accept card so I was advised to walk to CVS and go to the ATM. The ATM charges $3. I come back to pay , give her a $5 tip still (idk why I do this) and leave. She was a nice older lady, her skills are just lacking. I ended up coming home and fixing it myself with a big curling iron. Won't come back.

This place is aweful! I went in for a trim (had a long bob) and came out completely butchered! I've never seen a hair cut this bad in the life! I didn't even know how bad it was until I got home because the stylist, Jasmine, told me she couldn't dry it because she had an appointment. I'm pretty it was because she didn't want me to see what she had done. Had to go to another salon to have it fixed and that stylist had to cut it very short to salvage what hair I had left. Stay away!

Went to see Jasmine March 2018 for a mens haircut. I called and she fit me in the same day. She did a great job! I had a bad haircut 2 week previously and Jasmine came to the rescue and fixed it right up. And $20 for a men's haircut with shampoo is a good value. She knows what she is doing and has good professional judgement about how to best cut men's hair. She rescued my bad haircut and made me look good again. This place is my new go-to every 6 weeks or so. Definitely a 5 star establishment.

I go to Jasmines Beauty Salon every three weeks for my haircut. Sometimes if I have an important event coming up, Jasmine is always willing to find a time for me to come in. The salon has a super relaxed atmosphere and they truly treat you with great respect. I guarantee if you go once, you will never go to any other hair stylist.

PHENOMENAL. I came in with very damaged, very peroxide ruined hair with half permanent black and browns. Sarah fixed EVERYTHING, she did it perfectly, took her time, and did it right. She really did my hair, seriously perfect. I've spent over $250 in other places and left upset; here I left ecstatic and jumping for joy, with a new freaking lease on life. I LOVE this place. They're all so nice, generous, and did a great job with my hair!! I'm NEVER going anywhere else ever again!!!

I love the haircut that Jasmine gave me. I have unruly frizzy hair, so I asked her to give me a more polished look without having to style too much. Her cut and styling softened my curls to polished waves, and the hair around my face was perfectly styled. She even thought me how to do it too. Great service. I also got an awesome pedicure there. My toes looked great for a month, sandals everyday. Loved it!

Last week I made an appt with jasmine to get my hair cut. When I showed up at our scheduled time, she said she was running 30 mins late and asked her coworker, Darlene, to cut my hair (she never asked if I was okay with that). Darlene seemed rather unprofessional in grubby sweats with her hair up. The whole time Darlene complained about how dry my hair was and how she couldn't believe it was this dry, continually asking me what I did to make it this dry. Numerous times combed over my ears and it was pretty painful. At the end she handed me the comb and told me to 'comb it out and see if I liked it'. She offered to blow dry my hair, which I decline, I just wanted to get out. My hair is uneven with choppy layers that do not blend together. I'm very disappointed with my experience and my hit cut.

Jasmine was both fun and professional and took great care in both cutting my hair, which hadn't been cut in years, and waxing my extremely bushy brows and "moustache" (her 23 years'experience showed). I'm DEFINITELY returning for upkeep of both, and will bring Hubby along for a manly manicure offered by another lady there.
