Jakers Bar and Grill

We arrived near closing time, but they still welcomed us into the bar and promptly took our orders for drinks and food.
Since it was so late we didn't want a huge meal so we ordered some sides instead. Everything we had was very tasty.
The lobster bisque is AMAZING! We each had a bowl. So delicious. This came with the tastiest rolls ever (+oyster crackers ) and just that would have been enough food. Just thought I needed some veggies so I also ordered a side of sauteed zucchini. It was well seasoned and lightly cooked. I would have preferred a softer bite, but it was still good.
My friend also ordered a baked potato which was HUGE and generously covered in butter and sour cream.
We each enjoyed a cocktail as well. I thought the drinks were well made and not overly priced.
The service was great. The atmosphere was very enjoyable at the time we were there. The decor was pleasant and the bathrooms were clean.
All in all a great evening out.

Overall was a very good dining experience. Service was efficient and prompt, portions met my expectations, food quality was solid, and priced appropriate for the market.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for a good steak and thought we would try it out.

Front of the house service seemed a little disjointed, the host seemed to be confused as to where to seat us. That being said our server Tiffany was very helpful, suggested the Sirloin and I was not disappointed. Great cut of beef done perfectly.

Wedge salad was great and the Baked Potato Soup was delish. Fry bread was very good as well!

It felt like for as many staff as they had working on a Monday evening that the service would have been on point. Tiffany saved the experience and she is the reason for the fourth star.

Overall good experience and I would recommend visiting, especially if you are looking for a legit sirloin.

When we walked in, we were prepared for a nice experience - the people were friendly and servers were quite busy yet efficient. The place is a lot nicer than many restaurants in the area. The food coming to the other tables looked fabulous. We spent a lot of time looking at the menu trying to decide. The Hubbs and I share everything, so we often negotiate who is getting what. I started with a drink called the dirty orphan girl (description in photo below), and the Hubbs had a lemon sour beer. We decided to order all appetizers. And this is where we had hit-and-miss experience. The baked potato soup was good - a nice size and good flavor. The French onion soup was very salty and it had a thicker texture than most. And it was odd that it was in a smaller than usual bowl, especially when you pay $2 extra for a premium soup. The wedge salad was nice - crisp with grape tomatoes and bacon chunks. Lots of blue cheese. The Montana scone biscuits were fabulous! I ordered the Ahi Tuna appetizer. It appeared to be cooked nice and rare and presented nicely with rice and sauces. But the texture was weird - a little mushy. I ate it cuz I paid $18 for it, but didn't enjoy it. The Hubbs got the Teriyaki Steak bites with mushrooms. It looked fabulous and came with several slices of toasted bread. But again, so salty we couldn't eat it. We took it to go because maybe I can put some potatoes with it to offset the salt. We decided to get the butter cake with ice cream. It was okay. The crust was just tough and chewy - not what we expected. So we had a $75 tab, but only happy with three of the seven food items. We most likely won't be back.

Delicious, greatest server. Didn't catch her name but was very patient with us even up to closing!

The ribeye steak was great and the staff was awesome. I will most definitely be coming back her again next time.

We a had soup also. Lobster bowl and clam chowder. Both where awesome.

The steak and cheese needed more rate. Salt and pepper. Maybe add some mushrooms and more bell pepper and onions.little dry. Maybe over cooked.

The French onion was tender.

We had heard that this place was awesome.

The people were so nice and accommodation, service was excellent and the place was nice and clean. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. So if you want a decent lunch or dinner, it's a little pricey but the food was alright.

I don't know why people are not giving this place better ratings. I had the blackened chicken pasta and it was good. The cheese bread was awesome. The tomato soup was of the Gods and the "scones" were heavenly. I have never eaten at a Jakers before and wonder why. It is not cheap, but you get lots of food, the service was great and the price was reasonable for what you get.

I am not sure how they make the soup, but I am going to find out. It had a great buttery flavor with chunks of tomato and just hit me right. The "scones" are not scones as you know them. I am attaching a picture. They are like little, semi-sweet donuts without holes. They are served with honey butter. Oh, and they are part of all the meals.

I am going to be back. How is the meatloaf??
