i agree their veggie are beautiful - fresh and full of life.

I tried to find their website - littlebearproduce.com but seems to be down?

need to know their farming techniques, if fairly "close" to organic, I will shop them like crazy! Currently drive 20 minutes to get organic veggies......if these are at least unsprayed, they will do :)

I do not know a whole lot about this company but I do know that they grow beautiful chard!
I was in my local Market Basket yesterday and I was in the produce isle when I spied some just GORGEOUS chard in the color green. It was just like it was picked!
I love chard. It is one of my favorite leaf veggies.
I took it home like it was a treasure. I sauteed it with toasted sesame oil, garlic, EVOO, and topped it off with some soy sauce.
HEAVEN!
The little twistie holding the chard bundle together, came with a little tag, that read, "Little Bear Brand" J"& D Produce and CO. Edinburg, TX".
I never thought such goodness could come out of Texas!

I buy cilantro all the time as I use it weekly.


Today, I bought some cilantro at my local United Supermarket. I couldn't help but notice it looked "fuller" and "greener" than normal. I also noticed the "little bear" tag on the rubberband holding it together.

I thought nothing else of it until I got home and started "cleaning" it...separating the leaves from the stems. It was GORGEOUS! I got soooo many leaves from one bunch.

I even took a picture to email to my mother, who uses cilantro even more than I do.

I will be looking for this brand from now on!

i buy their onions from where i shop for groceries and never have been disappointed by them, they are really good.
