I enjoy the brisket at JC bbq. It is always cooked right and tastes delicious. Sides are good, not remarkable. Service is good and the establishment is clean.
Only complaint is weird hours when there are competitions going on.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jim C.OR, OR12617Jun 3, 2022
We drove from Salem to Lebanon and while in town decided to try J&C BBQ.
You kinda have a right to expect a place that specializes in a thing to have that thing available. If McDonalds ran out of burgers, you wouldn't go there.
I don't eat pork so I didn't go for that but their menu said they serve chicken and beef, coleslaw and okra.
Nope. They were out of all those items. So to be polite we ordered a sweet tea and a peach tea. Both drinks were watery and tasted strongly of lemon. Neither of us asked for lemon. And even though I had asked for some peach in my sweet tea and my partner had ordered PEACH tea, there was zero flavor in either.
We won't be back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fern S.Gresham, OR06Aug 22, 2022
They did lose their lease but have bought Bigfoot Burgers in Lebanon. They will be adding the barbecue there as soon as they get a new one to fit in their new establishment. Not sure why such a great business would have lost their lease. Whoever owned their previous building made the wrong decision. I drive all the way from Gresham to get their meats. It's just that good.....

From the second we pulled into the driveway we knew this was going to be a hit. The smoked meat smell permeates the entire building-almost a distraction while we tried to pick just one item from the vast menu.
I ordered the loaded baked potato with pulled pork and it was AWESOME!
I highly recommend this little diamond in the rough.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shannon P.Glenrock, WY150340797May 20, 2021
Some of the best barbecue We ever had ! You won't be disappointed our tabled 4 had hush puppies and fried okra to start off then the smoked sausage Mac and cheese which is amazing along with brisket sliders , ribs pulled pork and the baked beans . This is a must try if your in the area . They also have a store inside you can buy some diffrent rubs and barbecue sauce and a few other items .

When you have a husband who is a chef and his extended family are all chefs who live in the south you tend to have HIGH expectations of southern BBQ. I am disappointed in the lax covid precautions I have seen. The bbq is ok. The brisket was dry by my estimation and the okra I got mostly ends and bits. The flavored lemonades were SO SWEET! It was going to be a tough sell when southern BBQ is in my husbands wheelhouse.

Not a huge fan of bbq, but dang.
The coleslaw was fantastic. The burger, don't even ask... It was great. It was a bit of a wait but we weren't in a rush. Staff was more than friendly.
Gave us free (non alcoholic) drinks for our wait and even gave me a better meal than I expected. I rarely finish my plate but that was not a problem here.
Give it a try. Cannot wait to try their Brisket!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 21, 2018
One of the best cart BBQ, and even better is they have burnt ends. Located in the same lot as the DOT here in Sweet Home, J&C BBQ and catering offer a great option when in town. Best to get here early as they do sell out and you will have wasted a trip if you don't get anything. Also don't forget to try their own house sauces.
They often have specials that incorporate the succulent meats that are smoked right on the back of the trailer. Another great option is that you can always call ahead and place your order if you know your going to be doing a big get together and need a couple pounds of brisket and tips.
I am a huge fan of their baked beans which are in my opinion stupendous, but I do need to try their potato salad as well as their coleslaw. I'm the only one in the family who likes coleslaw so it may be a while.
If you are ever in this neck of the woods and want a great BBQ for lunch or dinner, you need not look any further than here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lynn L.Lebanon, OR35192Jul 23, 2021
Great BBQ it's a must try in Lebanon!
If I had any negative it would be they often run out of meats, but it's worth going to this very good restaurant!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
