I haven't signed a lease yet, but after touring This is a very nice apartment complex with a lot of amenities and a great pool area. The apartment searching process has been quite tedious for me overall, however Juan was super helpful and patient with me and answered any questions I had. Excited to hopefully call this place my home!

Living here gives me a unique perspective on the property and my experience, I have to say the price for this place being in dallas is almost unheard of, and you really get a good bang for your buck, I want tell you what I pay but from what I have heard from other people it is super low compared to others within this area, and you don't get wood floors upgraded appliances, and doors and lights you can control from your phone. There are minor issues such as having to have spectrum and premium and other minor things such as no dog park but honestly these are supremely minor when you factor in what you could be paying living this close to everything in the heart of dallas.

The new managers are very unprofessional and rude. They hang up in my face because they do not communicate to one another.
I was on hold for a few minutes and the lady picked up and said "hello" but in a what do you want tone? I said I was on hold did she tell you what it was regarding?
In a nonchalant tone the property manager said "yeah what's the issue I've already scheduled it already" I said "well there's no issue I don't want the service anymore" and she started to argue with me then hung up in my face. RUDE!!I went up there after the incident of them hanging up in my face and she immediately called the cops because she didn't like my tone. Of course not! After you hung up in my face after I was explaining I no longer want the service. She told me she can't cancel it because it's already scheduled. Like people change their mind all the time and it's not like they came out to complete the service so YES I WANT TO CANCEL AND TAKE IT OFF MY UTILITY BILL. period.
I do not like this new management and I'm going above and beyond to get them rude women out of the office because I pay $1200/ month and I don't want to be treated neither talked to with disrespect. My neighbors and I have all complained about their unprofessional email etiquette and the word choice they CHOOSE to use to offend a smart individual like me. I don't have ANYTHING on my patio and I'm offended by the DISTASTEFUL words they use to communicate to their residents. We even got a notice for a $50 trash bill and all four complex (including the townhomes around us) share ONE dumpster.
      Do not move here.
They are going through some renovations and making the residents pay for t however they only care about how the front and the office looks.

Really loving my stay 5 months in. Maintenance guy really went above and beyond to try and fix my AC. Great location. My rent is not too expensive or too cheap. My appliances and Dwelo (phone app where you can control lights, air conditioning, and lock/unlock doors) are excellent.

I love walking out of my apartment and seeing a little bag of coke outside my door! Someone will no doubt be upset they lost it! But, they can follow their nose to any one of the numerous residents that smoke weed in their apartments with the balcony door open! Maybe they can help them? Or possibly one of the countless people walking through the gated parking area who seem to be tweaking on drugs to find more! This was the worst decision I've ever made! They can't even complete simple work orders that I've had submitted for months now! This is the biggest joke! Anterra cares NOTHING about the residents! I can't wait to leave this pathetic excuse for a "Community"! If you are into drugs and NO assistance from the staff, this actually may be right up your ally! I know the area is changing, but I guess just because the area is, doesn't mean The Ivy is! Step it up Anterra! I invite Anterra Corporate to actually walk this community! See what we see and then you will know why you have a 2.9 google rating! Good luck with this community! You will need a miracle to turn it around as long as the current staff is there!

So from the beginning we were promised many amenities in our apartment that we did not receive. Then after dealing with that we find out the office lady (who is no longer there THANK GOD) told us the wrong dates so we were left without an apartment for an extra 1 1/2 months. Ever since they fired the old office girls the place has really gotten so much better. The crime that is directly affecting our property is very concerning. I haven't seen any patrols but hopefully they change that soon. Otherwise I do like living here. Noises are minimal, pretty quiet unless your neighbors are loud.

If you searching for a new place look to lease somewhere else. A place where the staff is warm and welcoming. I never got a chance to view the property or talk to anyone because as I was entering the property a very rude leasing agent told me basically to leave. She was with another potential leasing couple and I had to leave because she was going to show them an apartment. There was no "I would love to assist you when I come back, please wait sir" or "How are you today? I will be with you as soon as I can, and we are happy you stop by". She said NOTHING. Just I'm locking the doors. In other words, she flat out told me to leave. There was nothing wrong with the way I was dress (although that should not matter), I have excellent credit and renters history, work for a commercial bank in the area and was looking for one bedroom apartment close by. I have never been told to get out because they were too busy with someone else. We all know that rent in Dallas is not cheap so if you are looking to spend your hard earned money on a new apartment, take my advice, lease somewhere in the area with a staff that will treat you with respect and is welcome to have you stop by to view their property. Do not even bother going to Ivy Urban Living at Cityplace!

If representative from the company read this review I stopped by around 11am on December 1, 2018. So whoever was on staff that is the person that treated me so rudely!

Horrible. Mail gets stolen because of messed up mailboxes, gates close on your car and they claim not liable. BUGS! Even though you pay pest you have to actually request every month for a spray as they only do pest control on one building per month. WiFi barely works and when you need maintenance they barely want to come. I get covid but living here is a nightmare.

I have lived here one month and I have been very pleased with my experience so far. The location here is perfect and you can't beat the price of rent. My apartment has smart home technology and I am able to access it from my phone to adjust lights, temperature, and the door lock. The upgrades to the apartment are a nice touch as well. I have placed a few work orders and they were all addressed within days. One of them was fixed within hours of my request.

I am very grateful for the leasing agent Julian. She has been very professional, patient, and helpful with the entire move-in process, and any of my concerns proceeding. Thank you, Julian!

I like that the apartment is concerned with its appearance and it's continuously working to upgrade and keep it looking nice. There are rules the community adheres to. A dog park was also added, and to my knowledge, they are putting up bag dispensers/trash cans for people to pick up after their pets.

The neighborhood itself is in a high traffic area. However, I have not experienced any issues with excessive noise or loud neighbors. It's really quiet.

Parking within gated areas is for residents only. The streets lining the apartments are for guest. The streets are usually full. Parking is a bit hard at times for guests.

Living here means you will have to use Spectrum, because the apartment bulk buys the service and it will be included in the utility bill. I don't mind. Its a flat fee for cable and internet.

Overall, if you like being in Dallas and in the heart of the city minutes away from just about everything this is your place.
