This place is beautiful! Peaceful is as peaceful does. I'm glad this little gem sits in Jackson Heights. It's in a great location. There are a couple of other cute shops on this block (a fancy wine place and Pauglina [a cool coffee/flower/art shop - see my Yelp review on their page] being just two of them).

They have incense up the wazoo! I'm a incense-novice, but I say that just leaves the possibilities wide open! There are many kinds sold here, smears and all, and so many brands. I've bought a bunch! Some of them come with a little incense holder included. And separately, I got a lotus flower incense/candle holder as well as a long wooden one.

Other things they have include nice candles, soaps, bath soaks, jewelry, candle holders, oils, smears, and Tibetan singing bowls.

It's a bit pricy, but that's what you get from a small fancy shop. Some of the pricing does seem a little off. For instance, there are soaps that are $5 that are $4.75 at Pauglina...

One thing that throws me off is the baby toys. I'm not sure why they sell them here. It seems out of place.

The minute you walk in you feel peaceful. This has become my only place where I get my incense, oils and crystals. The first time I came to Inner Peace I was so out of place in so many levels, but the amazing ladies working here took the time to educate me and suggest products that have been nothing but amazing.

      Nice store in the area.

I like this store but lately it seems as though they are either going out of business or not stocking items like they used to.
The ladies at the counter are ok. They have to be in the "mood" if you know what I mean.

This was my favorite gift shop ever, and where I always bought all of my gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and just because days. The couple who owns it (unfortunately not a couple any more, the husband was killed on 9-11, he was a fireman, and it was a serious neighborhood tragedy) really loves it.

You can lose yourself in this tiny store, and spend hours looking at the handmade picture frames, the lovely knicknacks, the cutesy baby stuff, the books and CDs, home decor, candles, soaps, you name it. The cards are great for special occasions and for any occasions. Basically, you can't go wrong!

This store is a gem in an otherwise bland block of shops. If you're into anything spiritual/ meditative and you like angels, buddhas, candles, wind chimes ... this place has it all and more. A great store to find a special gift for any occasion. Every time I go into this store I end up buying more than one thing. I'm happy it's still here cuz for awhile, after 9/11, I thought it might close. Definitely one of the sweetest stores on 37th Ave.

Very small store, sells mostly 'New-Age-y' sort of items. Would have just blended in had it been located in Manhattan. Yet somehow it's perfect for Jackson Heights.

My go-to place to buy unique cards for baby showers or weddings. They even have same sex wedding cards!

This store drew us in with the name and products, however the lady at the counter was distracted and made us feel like an imposition even though no one else was in the store. I tried to get her to smile and be more pleasant, but she wasn't in the mood. Not sure if she was having a bad day or was prejudiced or didn't want any customers. Well, I just read two reviews that are listed under not recommended & there may be a racial prejudice issue going on. Check for yourself.

I was afraid to buy sage from her because it would have negativity associated with it. Pity, not a very peaceful experience.
