I've been getting regular chiropractic care for many years but was always disappointed that you needed to purchase a plan at most offices. I'm super thrilled that I can pay $25 for a thorough adjustment, without an appointment. Dr. Mark is engaging and puts patients at ease and I trusted him with my care after the first visit. Chiropractic care is self care, go get adjusted!

I bought a package deal there right before COVID hit and was worried that I lost my money. I went in today and they stated there is no expiration for the package deals. Awesome start.

From there Dr. TJ (or DJ) was the Doc who helped me out. To start, I have only been to three other chiropractors and while they helped with my target areas, they never went outside of that. Dr. TJ went from head to toe and tested what areas were weak or needed adjusting. I have bad medical issues and let me tell you... by the time he was done, I would recommend him every time and made me want to go MUCH more. I feel amazing.

Thank you Doc. You definitely made me feel great and cannot wait to see you again!

How did I not know about this place?
Hubby and I walked in about 5:15pm on a Monday afternoon. Being a new patient, I had to fill out a short questionnaire. I saw John Fenn. Amazing, friendly, & very informative. He aligned my back, next, & waist. Instantly, the tense soreness in my shoulders and back was gone. What I was surprisingly pleased with was he aligned my son's back and shoulders (for free). I saw what he did and I could tell he was actually relieving my son of any discomfort.
Bottom line: I will be coming here from now on. No appointments. Only $20 a person!

The adjustment was okay. Doc was friendly but as people have mentioned the was no hand washing between patients. He cracked my back and I felt some relief for what I went in for. Honestly my biggest issue was the big anti-vax picture they have on the wall. I understand you're not medical doctors, but you're still doctors. Keep your terrible, harmful opinions to yourself.

I went to the Chesapeake location for an adjustment for some ongoing but not super bothersome pain in my hips. Well, the experience left me constantly thinking about one thing - unsanitary.

The doctor did not wash his hand after adjusting the previous person. He started my session with some warm-up massage on my neck and shoulder. Then adjustments on neck and pelvis, and then moved on to feet and ankle with his hands touching and holding the bottoms of my shoes. After that, it was when I started to feel "dirty" and "uncomfortable" when he moved on holding my forehead and face for another treatment that I could no longer concentrate.

He did not wash his hand after my session and continued working on the next person. For $25, if you don't care about sanitation, sure it's a deal. I don't think I will go back, as I don't think how many patients he treats a day with continuous touch of the germs on the shoes and people's greasy face.

Loving it right now. All but 2 of my sessions have been with Dr. Mark. Being a man of larger stature I feel more secure when I'm being adjusted by someone that can "handle" patients of my size.

I was referred by a friend and have been happy with the referral and my choice to give them a try. Now all of the family (4) is going in.

I have been to this location twice and I have truly enjoyed my experience. Today I took my 8 year old son for the first time since he plays sports and carries around a heavy bookbag. Dr. Chalfant was nothing short of amazing. He made my son feel comfortable and was very patient with all of his questions...and even allowed him to help with my adjustment! That made for an awesome first experience for him. I would definitely recommend. We will be going back again!

Wanted to update my review to let everyone know price went up to $25 for s visit but don't have to worry about insurance. Great staff and great Doctors with very accommodating hours!!

Let me start by saying that the docs are good at what they do. Truly. What this review speaks to is the general degradation of the overall experience. They seem to be understaffed as of late and at one time had no one at the front desk which meant the doc was doing the paperwork, checkout, etc. which makes the wait longer. The office area was pretty dirt with debris on the floor, and a feeling that a deep cleaning was necessary. In general the place is starting to give the feeling of a disheveled closet where no one is really in charge . With the great doctors they do have they really need to clean, freshen up the decor, paint and get organized. Also, please buy some new chairs. The two by the front door are tired and I have heard people complain to the desk person which usually gets a laugh and an acknowledgment of their condition. This office is and has been much better than the recent visits I have experienced.

I have been Yelping for 5 years and have not felt compelled to give a review until my FANTASTIC experience today with Dr. Mark and now I just want to shout from the Mountain Top, singing his praises!

...This may not mean much to you if you've never had a back spasm on the weekend. Or your work schedule allows for you to take time off during "normal business hours" during the week for doctor's appointment. Or if you've ever had a period of chronic pain where you have exhausted all of your insurance midway through the calendar year and had to come out of pocket with hundreds of dollars to complete treatment. If none of these scenarios have ever applied to you, God Bless! You are truly special.

However, as a busy working professional whose schedule is subject to change frequently, I can fully appreciate In8 Chiropractic for all they have to offer. The convenience is second to none (they have 3 other locations as well!). It is also very evident this practice is trying wholeheartedly to make Chiropractic Care readily available to the masses. I don't know what the best way you last spent $20 was, but my adjustment was absolutely worth every single dollar. Taking insurance off the table saves so many headaches on both ends, and I wish more health care providers would follow suit.

Lastly, I love Dr. Mark's personality! He is genuine and caring, making you feel at ease throughout the appointment. I came in today with an acute issue (on a Sunday) and I couldn't have been more pleased with the treatment I received. Fast, efficient, effective. Although I live 45 minutes away, I'll definitely be back on a regular basis! What's 2 hours (round trip drive+adjustment) out of my busy schedule a week? I don't know about you, but my health and well being is undoubtedly worth the commute.

In conclusion, whether you've never sought chiropractic treatment before or have been a long time patient, give them a try! I've been a believer for the past decade and I can assure you won't be disappointed. What do you have to lose-other than pain?!! :-)
