Ichiban Japaneese Steakhouse

The food was great. It was really delicious. The Japanese New York Strip and Jumbo Shrimp was cooked just right. It came with fried rice cooked with egg in it. It also had vegetables like broccoli, mushrooms and onions tossed about which really made for a delicious combination.

It's located in a shopping center close to Kroger and Lowes. The shopping center also had 3 other restaurants in it. One was Mexican, one was Chinese and one was this Japanese restaurant that we decided to eat at. The 4th was a Chinese/Japanese American all rolled into one restaurant. Beijing Chinese restaurant is right next to this Japanese restaurant we decided to eat at.

Parking: There's plenty of parking as it is in a shopping center with a bunch of other stores and restaurants. There's also a mall in the area.

The customer service: First of all, I called on phone to find out about prices and menu items. It was hard to get anything out of her because she wasn't very talkative or knowledgeable. I decided to eat here anyway since for $11.99 you can get a Japanese steak, rice, vegetables, soup and a salad. I thought that was a pretty good deal. She took our orders for drinks and gave us our menus right when we got there. She let our drinks which was sweet tea become empty on half of us. She also did not check back on us. She mostly stood behind the counter talking to another co Worker. However, we did get refills by holding up our empty cups. Therefore, I they get 4 Stars.

Other menu items: They have appetizers, several soups and salads like miso soup, stir fried noodles, fried rice of course, chicken tempura bento, hibachi dinners like salmon, shrimp, steak and chicken, combination dinners, sushi rolls such as tuna, potato, and Philadelphia. Other special sushi rolls include; crab, volcano, spicy girl, pink lady, sunset, crunch, snow mountain, ichiban, rainbow, lion king, Godzilla, and even a dragon fly roll. They also have kids meals, desserts, and side orders like mushrooms and carrots.

In summary, I will come back because of the great food and prices. However, the waitresses need more training on watching to make sure their customers don't run out of drinks. It is the simple truth: All great restaurants check back on their customers and give great service by just refilling their drinks and cooking delicious food -It's that easy.

Overall, food is average. The prices are low and reasonable and the food was prepared really fast. I was disappointed in their limited selection of sushi.

The service is the only thing getting this place a 2 star. The food was terrible. The avocado on my wife's sushi smelled and tasted rotten and the onion soup tasted sour. I got the chicken wings (extra hot). They took the over-cooked chicken wings and drizzled a little hot sauce on them. It tasted like the grease hadn't been cleaned or changed in forever. We definitely will not be going back.

my family and I stopped in to have lunch. My son had the chicken nugget and fry meal, my daughter had the chicken wing and fry meal, and I had the teriyaki chicken Bento box. Overall the food was very delicious, and came out quickly. Unfortunately my complaint would have to be that the restaurant was very hot inside I'm not sure what their AC was set on but it wasn't comfortable for my family nor our waitress, and the table was so sticky that I actually tried to wipe it myself and couldn't get it clean.

This is my go to place in town for wings. Love the honey garlic sauce. They also do good fried rice. I haven't really tried much else on their menu but I've seen nothing to think it isn't just as good based on hearing other people talk about it.

This was one of those "tired of eating at the same fast food joints" type of meal! The food was okay, prices are reasonable.. blah blah blah

The staff was excellent. Unfortunately the food was not. The shrimp was over cooked and the steak tasted like old grease smells

The place is not the normal Ichiban you see, solo extravagant building but in a strip mall mall. You also don't get to see them cook in front of you. Nonetheless, the food is excellent! Prepared very well and even getting the steak well-done doesn't result in dry steak. Presentation, excellent. Food excellent. Service is very homey and quiet. 10/10

Super fast service, friendly waitress, great food.. even to go orders are all great. They pack everything you need to enjoy the food at home! One of my favorites.. never over crowded or loud. Just right!

We eat at this place at least once a week. The food is great ! Can't find a better soup in town! Prices are comparable too. Very quite and calm during lunch time. Friendly atmosphere! I've tried just about everything on the menu but my favorite is the shrimp yaki soba. If your looking for great food and quite and clean this is the place for you.
