Stopped here to have dinner with my bff. I ordered the Valkill sandwich and it was delicious. The sandwich was so big I took half of it home and my daughter loved it too. So delicious and fresh. The veggies were great and the aioli spread was yummy. The bread was pressed a little and it was crusty but not so much that you can't bite through it without food spilling out the sides. The fries were also good. Not too many which was good (I guess) for my waistline. Ha ha
My friend ordered the cauliflower crust pizza which was surprisingly delicious. I tried making a cauliflower crust once and it was a hot mess. Why make it when you can have it here and it's so good?
Try both of these...totally worth it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 4, 2022
This spot was open on New Year's Eve & after touring the Vanderbilt mansion we were excited to sit down to a hot meal. Was not disappointed, whatsoever with the food. Very much American Pub food but tasty & delicious!

Service was good for a party of 6. Had 3 pitchers of blonde beer and 2 of rough rider red. Beer was average nothing fancy. Appetizers were edible pretzels were salty wings were spicy.
Great little hang out spot to watch a ball game or a Kentucky Derby but wouldn't always be my go to placeHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 27, 2019
Good beers -- a lot of them brewed right here -- combined with an intriguingly diverse menu and a terrific location make this a recommended stop. It's directly across the road from the FDR Library and a great place to relax after visiting the Roosevelt home and library. We sampled the IPA which was tasty and only one of a large choice of beers available. If you're overwhelmed by the choices, ask your waiter; we did and were very pleased with the result. They do very good burgers, our nachos were cheesy and not dry, the grilled steak was tender and juicy and the turkey rueben was hot, melting with dressing and filled with kraut, a delicious and very large sandwich. They have quite a few vegetarian options -- pretty uncommon for a brewery -- so don't stay away just because you don't care for meats.
There is a bar area and a dining area which can get a bit noisy when its crowded, but they also have outside seating which is wonderful on a nice day. We do think it's a little pricey: burgers $15, some drinks $8 to $12 and entrees in the $20s. That won't keep us away, but be cautioned that it's not cheap.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rob D.New York, NY2775Apr 7, 2022
I liked this place. It's beer and hardy food. The beers were very nice and my server's recommendations were excellent. For an entree, I chose the mac and cheese with bbq pork. Together not great, but each on its own was good. The bbq would have been perfect on a potato bun, just not mixed with the cheesy goodness. Too much going on...

It was nice and sunny the other day so I decided to finally stop by. I have to say the inside is very nice and I life that they have outdoor seating. I had the raspberry beer which was very enjoyable, as well as tried their IPA which is made with all local ingredient. I had the 96 degree burger which was seasoned good, cooked to how I liked it, but rather small for the price. The fried that came with it were good, but again not a big portion. I will say the beer was decently priced and you can get a flight if you want. All together my bill was 40 dollars for a salad a burger and a beer, so a little steep for one person. They have live music Friday and Saturday which I will comeback to enjoy when the weather warms up more! Good service and wonderful waitress just a bit pricey.

Up here having gone to a Katsbaan ballet performance in Tivoli
It's Sunday and pouring out. After church we re ready for lunch. We were thinking of going to the culinary institute but the complex is extremely confusing so following Yelp we opt for Hyde Park Brewing.
The place is pretty empty but that's all ok
First we ask for mimosas which are wonderful We order hash with eggs and French toast. All perfect!
Our waitress Sandra is a delight and we strike up great conversation
A simply perfect experience on a rainy Sunday.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 11, 2017
3.5: Located across the street from the grounds of Hyde Park, this place offers decent fare and fine service. I'm not sure, however, how this one stacks up in comparison to other breweries.
There's a bar area and a dining area; there was a party going on so most of the dining room was taken up with that. Now to the food: the veggie burger (quinoa, guacamole, etc.) ($13) was moist and tasty; instead of the potato salad, I'd recommend getting either the chips or fries because it all ended being too rich and I felt a little sick afterward. There were also good reviews for the Kielbasa (as a composed dish) and the Grand Prize chicken sandwich. The fish in the fish and chips looked a little too fried. They have a small menu of homemade desserts; we had the bread pudding and Hudson Valley apple strudel. They were both good, though the apple strudel didn't taste truly homemade for some reason, perhaps the texture.
Overall, we had a nice time and would return when in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 65151171Jul 11, 2018
What a wonderful lunch!! The flight was a great way to try so many great beers. We enjoyed Thai Thai shrimp as an app. They were well cooked and flavored. We only wish there was at least one more for the cost. For lunch we ordered a chicken chipotle pizza which afforded the three of us a healthy slice with three to take home. The flavor was amazing. Bbq, cheddar, bacon, caramelized onion and scallion aioli. Their Rueben was open faced with lean pastrami and delicious sauerkraut. The Drunken Turkey was tasty with a nice bun. The potato salad was an added bonus. We're so glad we came by after our visit to FDR mansion!!

Nice beer selection. Andrew behind the bar was great. We were skeptical of the boneless wings and were proven wrong. No pics because we ate them too fast. Hahah. They were flipping delicious. We will be back!
